This is a nice store, aisles are clean and tidy, shelves are stocked, plenty of products. The produce section looked amazing. Customer washroom was clean. There are ample free parking in the parking lot.

I by no means look like or act like a thief, yet their security guard followed me around the store. I will not be returning as I find this offensive. Also their turkey and pork meat had some that were expired yesterday. Also their workers block the aisles with product and don’t apologize or move when you’re trying to get around them to enter an aisle. I see several reviews stating the same so management obviously doesn’t care.

Prices are so high here. $5.00 for a cauliflower and it's in season. Ham on sale for $3.48lb when other stores had on sale fir $1.97 lb. Mushrooms outrageously priced! When will you start bring real savings? Seems much better to shop elsewhere.

Horrible customer service, following individuals around without even checking to see if they're actually thieves. Speaking aggressively to customers and Furthermore, the majority of the employees have no understanding where their products are located.Your staff have no right to yell at costumers to get out of the line just because they *THOUGHT* the costumer caught in line. I'm not sure what you taught your staff, but showing them some respect would probably help.

The security guard always close the door before 11pm, specifically, at 10:50pm but their closing time is at 11pm.Lots of customers couldn’t buy anything because he closed the door at 10:50pm. Security guard was very rude on the customers.

Hello Everyone and Sobeys Management ,if you are reading this , i am writing here because i have no where to go now.I have purchased the amazon gift card from Sobeys on 22 august, 2023 and when i tried to see the printed claim code on it i found that the paper surface on which claim code was printed was already damaged which you can clearly see in pictures I have provided . You can see that due to bad glue or something , half of the printed code is stuck on the upper part of the paper strip and the other half is left on the card itself which proves that it was already damaged before I could read it . so there is no chance that anyone can read it or use it .I tried to request store associates that kindly look into this matter, they said that they understand that it was already damaged but they denied to replace the card and said that i should contact amazon support. so then i talked to amazon support and they found that the card serial number was not showing up in their system too. Now this clearly means that this card was never used.then amazon support told me to go back to Sobeys and so i again requested sobeys store. this time they told me that they are going to create ticket or something and also connected me to store manager Jamie. and she was agreed too that the card was already damaged but still she said "we can not do anything for you".I again requested her that kindly check that there must be a way to see in system where those $100 is sitting currently. but she simply said "$100 is sitting on that card you purchased , but if you are not able to use it that's not our problem. you should talk to amazon"".now everybody knows that I am right but nobody can do anything for me and so then she simply cut the call. which means she was not even interested in looking into this matter.if i bought anything from sobeys you are responsible for that because i paid $100 to sobeys and you can not simply say "we can not help you".Now i am not sure whom should i contact as both parties are saying that you have the damaged product and if you can not use it that's not their problem.I am writing here because I am still hopeful and maybe $100 is nothing for Sobeys but for me its a hard earned money for which i have to work for whole day .if somebody is listening please help .Thanks in advance

I have been coming here since the strike at Metro. A little bit smaller than what I am used to, but certainly a lot more than just the basics.Staff is very helpful. A big thank you to Howard, who went out of his way to find me the last bag of a frozen item I had come to the store specifically for.Absolutely considering making this my main Grocery store due to its convenient location and excellent staff.

This is not our neighborhood grocery store, but, we have been buying cakes for different occasions here for many, many years.Always a pleasant voice answering the phones at main line, and inbakery. The cakes have always been perfect, but, the last one we ordered was exceptional. The decorating was like artwork. I was told they didn't do fudge icing, but, we got our cake with fudge icing, and it was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to everyone for making our special times more special! Keep up the great work!

Nice and friendly customer service. Great selection of fresh produce even though prices here are higher than other grocery stores I’ve visited. Warning— ALWAYS review your receipts!!! I’ve discovered that they usually make “errors” at the cashier stands by overcharging. An incident can be considered as a mistake; two incidents can also be considered as a mistake. However, when there has been multiple incidents of double charges on receipts or higher prices on receipts compared to the price labels on the shelf, then this calls for concern. Today’s incident left me disappointed. I was overcharged for two items; I only discovered this when I returned home and reviewed my receipt. I made a phone call to inquire because I didn’t want to go through the trouble of going back to the store. I was assured on the phone that I was charged accurately but because I was so certain of the price I had seen on the shelf, which was different from the price on the receipt, I went back to the store. I showed the cashier who had served me earlier, the price on the shelf, which was lower than the price on my receipt. There was no apology given; I was mortified especially since I had placed a call to them earlier and was assured that the price on the receipt was accurate. If I didn’t go through the trouble of going back to the store, I would have been cheated of my hard earned money. I had to speak with the manager who assured I would get my refund for the difference in prices. I’ll make sure to ALWAYS check my receipt after shopping at Sobeys, henceforth. Be certain you do the same.

The staff and managment are always in a good mood. I can get groceries and enjoy the environment, the lines get long sometimes but they quickly get the registers open.

Disastrous experience. Unprofessional staff and management. Nobody knows what they are doing. On top of that, the only fire exit was blocked with a display case. Restricted parking. Bad location to have a major grocery store location!

They don't have any of the typical pain medication you would expect to find in a grocery store of that size (e.g. Tylenol).There is no self checkout and some of the cashiers move slower than molasses, which is exponentially frustrating when there are long lines and few tills open.They sometimes have good deals on items like ice cream and plant "milk".Parking is good and plentiful.You can't miss it because it's the one with the hideous mural - I like the idea but the execution on that one is sub par.

Cashiers don't greet or aknowledge customers They will often toss your receipt instead of handing it to you. No have a nice day. Nothing. Very rude employees. This has been this way for years but has gotten progressively worse. I wont be going back there. Cake slices are frozen in the morning so baked good are not fresh. I have bought expired food there in the past. Went there today to buy milk and some bags were being sold expire in 2 days and at regular price.

NO PARKING! Don't bother trying to go here on weekdays. Sobeys head office made the decision to rent out both of their parking lots to 2 different construction sites for the workers to park here so there's zero parking, unless you have handicap sticker then there's only 2 spots. Very frustrating. It will probably be like this for at least a year. Thanks Sobeys, now I will shop elsewhere, I hope the money your making on parking will make up for your loss of business.
