Visited this store to buy a pillow but when I asked to try they brought a very old and dirty one, I could tell it hasnt been washed or tried with cover. These stores usually have a thin cover they put on the pillow for the costumers to try on and throw out after. Felt disgusting and had to take a shower when I went back home.

WATCHOUT.. I got a mattress couple of years back and have hardly used as I was out of the country. Now it is so uncomfortable and daily wake up with severe body pain.. I literally can feel something hard at the central axis.. I tried reaching out to customer service to get this fixed by claiming the warranty which is for 10 years and they make some weird excuses to not honour the warranty. Have faced a very bad experience and this too expensive for the quality and the type of customer service. Avoid..

I purchased my mattress from Sleep Country five years ago, investing over $1000, expecting durability and reliability. However, despite using a supportive box spring and bed frame, the body indentation has exceeded 1.5 inches deep, clearly meeting the criteria for warranty coverage. Yet, I was shocked to find out that even though the mattress's sinking surpassed the threshold, the warranty was voided due to minor staining. This rigid policy demonstrates a lack of consideration for customers who have invested significant amounts in their products. I would not recommend Sleep Country to anyone, given their unwillingness to stand behind their products and prioritize customer satisfaction.

This store is nothing but a rip off not the sleep country store the enployes I went to purchase a mattress and they made a cash deal for a twin mattres I wanted one not river we made a deal for $500cash he tried to give me the river mattress I took it back to exchange for any other one but he wanted more then it was he wanted 780 it was disgusting the sleep country on king and yonge

The Sleep Country Salesman was just great. The $59.00 fee (customer's choice) was a waste of money! The delivery guys did the 'bare minimum'! And to think that I tipped them ($5.00 bucks a piece)!

I purchased a mattress from this location in 2022. I opted to go into a physical store in hopes of connecting with an expert that would be able to help me find the perfect mattress. Unfortunately, I had the opposite experience. I was pressured into purchasing a mattress that has never felt right. Less than two years in, I'm stuck with this mattress and suffer from back pain every morning after sleeping. I would recommend that you avoid.

We busted sleep country downtown and was greeted & served by Aaqib who was a fantastic help and showed us a different range of mattresses to fit our budget. Highly recommend great mattress.

I was sold what looked like a refurbished mattress protector here ($200). It hadn’t even been through a wash cycle yet, and it had holes in the waterproof lining that looked like they had been previously patched over and sent back to the store to be resold. I went back to return the item and had put the protector in a big reusable bag (that I was given when purchased - a durable bag that was going to last the day as we were out walking/shopping). The person helping me was able to do the exchange for a new protector, but took my reusable bag off me (instead of letting me use it to carry my new replacement cover) and said that they need to use it to ship the protector back? They gave me a crumpled up plastic bag instead, which was really the cherry on top that lead to this review. Anyways, I will likely not shop here again.

Don’t buy from sleep country, the spring rising above the mattress surface level and the warranty didn’t cover that.

Did not have a good experience. Prices were nonsensical - one mattress was $5700 and when I said it was out of my price range, the price magically dropped to $3000. They put pressure to buy because the deal "is only good for today!" As a result, I had no confidence that the store/employee was operating in good faith - if there is no consistency in price and no explanation as to why it can change so drastically, it feels like a snake oil sale. I had no idea whether I was getting a good deal or not, I simply felt overwhelmed and confused.On numerous occasions, the sales associate referred to mattresses as "the rolls royce" of mattresses, claimed "the material was developed by NASA" and how they use the same materials in Ferrari seats. It all felt very fake and disingenuous. We anticipated all this, but were still disappointed with the experience.We left disappointed and ended up ordering an Endy mattress because of consistent price, consistent service, no bold/outlandish claims, just a straight-forward and honest transaction.
