Honestly one of the worst sephoras in the GTA. The staff is so lazy and I feel like they avoid customers by running away. I kid you not I tried to ask this lady a question and she turned into Noah Lyles and did a 100meter dash away from me.

I attempted to make a purchase at Sephora in Fairview during the Rouge Sale using two store credit cards: one with a balance of $250 and the other with $153. Unfortunately, due to a system issue, the card with $250 displayed only $78, and the $150 card unexpectedly showed a $0 balance, despite being confirmed at the start.
Tracy, the manager, was assigned to assist with these issues, but instead of helping, she repeatedly insisted I contact customer service and displayed an unprofessional attitude. Her lack of courtesy and customer service skills were disappointing. It’s unfortunate that someone in her position lacks fundamental customer care abilities.
Tracy’s approach throughout the interaction was dismissive and frustrating. Instead of actively listening and trying to resolve the issue, she continuously interrupted me and seemed unwilling to take responsibility. Each time I attempted to explain the situation, she cut me off, insisting that I contact customer service rather than offering any practical assistance.
Her tone was condescending, and she even rolled her eyes at my concerns. When I expressed my frustration, she became visibly irritated, and responding in a sarcastic manner. Rather than showing empathy or offering solutions, she acted as if my problem was an inconvenience to her. Her behavior lacked professionalism and courtesy, making me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a customer.
Overall, her rude and dismissive attitude was shocking for someone in a managerial role. Tracy’s behavior highlighted a lack of basic customer service skills and respect for clients, and it’s disappointing that someone with such an approach was entrusted with a managerial position.

It was my first time at sephora. No one willing to help. All they said was see for yourself wat u like. Customer service is not their thing.

One of the staff (don’t know her name, tall, around 40 years old with yellow highlights) were sooo rude today! Running away from me when I was trying to ask her question about availability of a product, and when she had to respond she simply told me go find it yourself! and continued to text on her phone. The behavior was so rude that I decided never come back to this location

Shopping at this location is usually alright but I’ve had it with the short blonde south asian employee/cashier; very passive, rude and lacks any customer service skills. Also, instead of offering help most of the (older/millenial) employees stand around yapping to each other ? I will say the red/pink hair employee is always super sweet! Other than that it’s best to check out other Sephora locations.

First and foremost, I have never encountered worst customer experience like at Sephora Fairview Mall. Can you imagine buying perfumes worth 650CAD with no thank you.The only thing I was asked at checkout, is to produce identification to prove that I am "me". Secondly, you try to look for an employee around the shop to help you get perfume samples in vain. All they do is sending someone to spy on you incase you are stealing more especially if you are a person of color. Anyways, who tells you all people of color don't work to afford buying nice stuff for themselves? Shame! Shame! Shame! In fact for your information, people of color don't come to such locations to shoplift. I suggest you revise your operating ways! Whether you thank me or not, my interest was buying perfumes, that's all!!!!!!

Sadaf did my makeup and it was such an amazing experience. She understood the look I wanted to achieve and I'm beyond happy with the results. She was extremely professional and sociable. I definitely plan to book makeup services with her again in the future. She has a lovely personality.

This Sephora branch is the worst, in my opinion, because all the samples are empty and no one checks to replace them. Plus, there’s no one available to help with questions!

I had a disappointing experience at the Sephora store. I believe the cashier’s name was Mira or Mirna, though I’m not entirely sure. She was extremely unprofessional and rude, particularly in front of my child. My child wanted to use my wife’s account for a purchase, but she refused and insisted that I sign up for a new account instead, without offering any understanding or flexibility. I was not impressed with her attitude, as this is not the level of service I expect from Sephora. Additionally, Sephora typically provides a gift with a purchase for birthdays, but she informed me that there were no samples or gifts available, which added to the overall
disappointing experience.

Had the worst experience here today, and will never come back to this location again.
Everytime I come here staff on the floor ignore me when I need help finding a product and are rude/brush me off when I do finally chase one of them down. Only nice staff I’ve encountered here were security who tried to help me today by paging someone to the section I was in (indian girl with long ponytail). Most of the cashiers have been nice too (especially the girl with dyed hair). The lady who did finally come to help me (middle aged indian lady with dyed blonde curls) had absolutely atrocious customer service skills. She looked me up and down like I was wasting her time and taking her away from something important - even though the store was mostly empty - then told me the shampoo and hair oil I was looking at “wouldn’t work for my hair type” and I should try something else from “another store, maybe the hair salon I get my hair done”. I simply asked for help finding a product I’ve been using for years (which works very well for my hair, thank you) and for a sample of a hair oil I wanted to test before purchasing.
She didn’t even bother recommending another product in the store she thought would work better for me, basically just told me to go elsewhere. Was this because of my skin colour? The way I was dressed? I like to wear leggings and go bare faced when running errands, this doesn’t mean I don’t have money! I’ve been VIB at Sephora for years. Online shopping is much better than coming here and the new location at shops at don mills is nicer as well. Avoid!!

I had Sally do my makeup for a wedding and she did a fantastic job! Sally would communicate with me during every step to ask if I liked the look or if I wanted to change something. She was so friendly and welcoming.
