Just enjoyed a delicious ribeye from Sanagans Gerrard. My guy on the Counter was super helpful in choosing the best cut and special
shoutout to blackbird for the super consistent best baguette in Toronto. If I die tonight it will be with a smile on my face.

Great store and staff. Just came back with a bag full of both fresh and frozen. Meatballs are fantastico, so is Chicken Cacciatore, very fresh sausages made today. Butcher and staff answered all my questions and more. Like how to grill Picanha Brazilian style. Didn't get any names but Saluti Tutti, Grazie Mille.

I tried to buy a few steaks here but couldn't because the lady locked the door when she saw me shop at the window. There were still customers shopping inside, store was still open for business and she refused to serve me.Very poor customer service, very rude staff, not worth the high prices!

Visited again today. They have really upped their game in home made charcuterie and sausages beyond the last visit.It's small but it really is Sanagan's with a good array of their charcuterie which I am quite fond of. Their meat display is actually in the storefront window so you really can window shop! A clever use of space

Picked up a haggis for Burns Night. Best haggis I have had since a Burns Night at the Scots Guards Officers' Mess years ago. Sensational. Whoever made it, nailed it. Bravo.

Been spending much of my household’s monthly grocery budget at Sanagan’s for four years now. We are huge fans of this incredible shop and their staff and owner, who have been always so helpful, gracious, patient and generous with us. My toddler who is such a picky meat eater chows down on their meats - including the duck breast. Everything they sell is truly superb - from the poultry, to beef to pork, duck, canned tomatoes, eggs and butters and spices. I also keep a stash of their bone broth in our freezer — especially when you’re under the weather, that stuff is heaven.

I don't buy meat often, but when I do, I want to go somewhere like Sanagan's where the meat is ethically sourced. However, the few times I have been in here ... and I have no idea why, because I don't speak other than to say "Please" and "Thank you" ... the staff are noticeably rude (unhappy).In response to the owner's response: There is nothing to email you about. I think my review is clear: Your staff are very unpleasant every time I come in, and actually treat me like I'm bothering them somehow. I don't come anymore because I don't have the energy or time in this life for people who can't operate with grace. Take care.

This place makes me genuinely happy to visit - the product is beautifully displayed, high quality, and very reasonably priced for what it is. It is a small store so it helps to know what you’re looking for when you go there - but I found the people there very friendly and helpful.
