Excellent selection and even better service. Edgar helped us the entire time and found us the clothing we needed in the sizes we wanted. He made sure that we had everything we came in for in a timely manner. Such an amazing experience thank you Edgar!!

We were there just right now, took a jeans from the 50%off side and asked to a kind staff member if it was off ‘cause there was no red tag on. He answer yes”the red tag should be there”. The rude cashier instead said it was full prize and when I told her where I pick up the item and what his colleague told me. She was hostile. We left the pants e we will go to another roots shop with more competent staff.

The male cashier was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I purchased three items as gifts but was refused separate bags. When I asked, the cashier rudely told me that I should have paid for each item separately and that it was too late since I had already paid. The way he spoke to me was completely unacceptable, with no regard for basic customer service. I felt disrespected and frustrated by his attitude.

5 stars for a lady who helped me with check out and answered my questions. 1 star for a staff who was sorting clothes and had a bad attitude when I asked her if the area over the cashier is the only place for socks. So the average is 3.

It was a walk by sorry to say. But I've been in there before . So I can honestly say it's a great store, and roots are a good quality, diffently worth the money.

The worst customer service Roots you can get. Possibly the store manager. She just has this face that she is giving zero f and extremely rude attitude. When response/ask questions, she would repeat “Sorry, wut” (with a mad resting b face).If you don’t want to help and engage with your customers then maybe don’t say anything is better.Roots’ Proud Quality in display.

If I can’t touch a bag on the display then put up a sign. If there is a sign and I missed it, kindly point it out to me instead of condescendingly saying “Let’s not touch the display”. Sorry, ma’am, last time I checked it was a Roots clothing store not the Louvre Museum. Am I not allowed to try on clothes and accessories? I felt completely uncomfortable and belittled. Jan 3rd 11am white lady with all white hair folding clothes at the front. Needless to say I won’t be back and I advise everyone who wants a comfortable shopping experience to go elsewhere. A sad representation of Canadian culture for a high tourist area.

Horrific experience at roots today (12:15-12:20 Tuesday Dec 12) my sister got a sweatsuit set as an early Christmas present from roots and the cashier left the security tags on. When she went back to ask them to remove the tags, WITH THE EXCHANGE RECIPT the dark haired woman refused to take them off without a ORIGINAL receipt (suggesting the product was stolen). This is totally agist as my sister is young and thus must be a thief I guess. I work in retail, and we would never do this! Not to mention she was completely rude. She didn’t have the receipt because it was a gift. I had to scramble to find it for her to correct THEIR mistake. What if I had already thrown the receipt away? BRUTAL.
