I've been to roast a few times and will offer this advice: Speak to the butcher. They are very knowledgeable about their products and give great recommendations. A couple times I've outlined an upcoming event, or asked for their advice on a dinner idea, and with their guidance always knocked it out of the park. Quality product and people.

The steak burgers are amazing and I’ll be back for more. The creamy coleslaw has too much vinegar and is very overpriced, I don’t recommend.

It was my very first time visiting this store today, and everything about it was spot-on enough, that I’ll be more than stoked to patron them again.This store is extremely clean & well organized, and although they offer dozens of what seemed to be craft products (sauces), all of these products were neatly organized and well displayed.I was only looking for a couple of freshly made delicious burgers today, and ROAST most certainly came through. These beef steak patties were very tasty, and they hit the spot being cooked medium (I’ll cook them medium rare now that I trust this shop). Sooooo tasty!I’ve recently moved in the ‘hood and am glad that I found ROAST on St Clair W.I’m stoked to return to try all their goodies; from meats to sauces!

Good quality meats but overly expensive. They price marinated items after, so 20$ of meat can go up to 30$ from basically soysauce. Cooked meals are good, salad bar is hit or miss. Service is ok. Most staff are nice. Bald butcher is unnerving and stands too close.

Clean shop, great selection, friendly staff. But they have the worst sausages I have ever had the misfortune of eating.

This is without doubt the most beautiful butcher shop I have ever visited. It is also immaculately clean with awesome options for high quality meats and prepared meals. The dry aged steaks are unbeatable. The owner Ben takes great pride in his shop and it shows.

After my first time at Roast, I'm never buying my meats at the supermarket again. What a wonderful selection of beef, and their chicken thighs are my favorite! Love their pre-made soups and curries a lot. Special thanks to my buddy Bogdan who's always delivering best service and gives great tips on choosing and storing meat.

My go-to butcher shop in the area. We’ve bought their steaks, burgers, sausages and bread. All have been great although their steaks and patty were especially delicious. They are pricier than a supermarket as expected but it’s made up for in the quality.
