I went in today to grab a couple stuff but it was so uncomfortable as a Black shopper to have non-Black folks follow you around to make sure you’re not stealing. There was 3 staff on the lookout, constantly staring at me then pacing just to return 10 seconds later. I was hoping to check off quite a few things from my shopping list from this store so it was disappointing when I left empty handed after travelling 20 minutes to that store. I felt it was in my best interest to hand the items I had picked up to one of the workers following me, let them know their surveillance was pretty intense and uncomfortable, and then I chose to leave showing my hands are empty. Although it’s hard on my disability, In the future I’ll be going back to my old health food’s store that’s across the city for a more comfortable shopping experience as a Black man.

A very good health food store with some produce, bulk rices and other staples, eggs, frozen foods, vegan and gluten free options, supplements and protein powders, teas, soaps and snacks. Prices reasonable and staff are helpful.

The vibes here were pretty bad. The staff was very unfriendly and not helpful. I've been shopping in health food stores for over 30 years and like to support local businesses. I'd rather go to Costco than shop here again. Some of the packaged products had questionable freshness and quality. You're better off shopping at the other health food store near Spadina.

I often go here for those specialty items. Not always the cheapest but the end caps often have deals.

More expensive than you'll find the same products at No Frills or Walmart, but far more obscure vitamins and food products than you'll find at your average grocery store or pharmacy. Better priced then say, The Big Carrot, or smaller health food stores. Staff and friendly and keep the place clean and well organized but they can give little by way of recommendation for vitamin brands.

Small but mighty! Great products and knowledgeable staff. Prices were reasonable compared to other health food stores. Highly recommend Qi.

I usually come here for vitamins but this time I decided to grab some snacks. The smart sweets were inedible. I get that they were on sale but they were rock hard and you literally couldn’t chew it. I bought 3 packs. The snack conscious bites had also gone bad. I usually get them at Fresh City and they’re one of my favourite treats.I won’t buy any shelf products here again as I can’t trust the quality.

I usually do not shop here but I decided to grab some items from this store because I did not want to travel far to my main health food store. The four times I have shopped at this store, I was discriminated against and it’s sad that people at that store are more friendlier to Caucasians more, me being a black women does not mean I need to be treated differently. The incidents that I had a few times that I shopped at this store was not welcoming at all and the Asian employee would act like she could not hear me or understand me and treated me very rudely, when a Caucasian women came in and asked for help she was so friendly and talkative to her but when it came to me as a black women asking for help trying to locate a product that I phoned in ahead of time about and asked if it was in stock, they lied, and going into the store to ask for the product I was treated very poorly. Even when I was waiting in line to be served there was a Caucasian person and the Asian employee was very friendly, she even was very welcoming to the Caucasian women but as soon as it was my turn to be cashed out, I was hit with a dead steer, very unwelcoming and treated very differently. I honestly have to say, I was treated with racism and it’s disgusting to be treated like that, especially when I was buying products from this store plus supporting their store and even if I was not supporting their store, people should not be treated that way. I have not returned to this store, nor will I ever again. I have chosen to travel the distant to the other health store where I actually buy my products from. Being racist is not cool employees at Qi Naturals ????????

Lovely spot. Kind and hard-working staff and good prices considering it's mostly organic, natural products.

Love this store it's my go-to for the last three years. Brilliant selection for a small shop, it has literally everything you could think of that you would need from a Health Food store. As another person said the prices on lots of products are actually cheaper compared to Lowblaws across the street. They also have lots of yummy and unique food brands that you can't get anywhere else in the neighbourhood.

I used to come here despite some slightly higher prices because they have good products and in order to support smaller businesses. I went today just a couple minutes before closing time. A client was exiting as I tried to enter but they didn't let me in. I mentioned it was just for a loaf of bread and that it wasn't 6pm yet but they just said no and closed the door in front of me. If this is the treatment to regular clients I rather just stop being a client at all.
