I love this man. I have been getting my pants and shorts hemmed here for years. New zippers on bags and recently some new curtains made from a table cloth. Great value in these times of great expense. If you want your off-the rack Gianni Versace jeans hemmed, then go ahead and spend $75 with a seamstress. For the practical things in life, Parkdale Cleaners is on your side. If you live in the hood, you have to give them a try.

NO! Had 5 or 6 items altered here and I don’t think a single one came back improved. Had sleeves shortened on a jacket and the seam done up on both cuffs was almost hilariously uneven and janky. Like the fact it even made it to the customer and was reviewed and cleared by the manager (I’m assuming is the process) is wild. When I pointed out the distractingly uneven hem the person behind the counter (believe the owner) told me “sometimes it’s hard to go in a straight line.” Wish I was kidding!! Was so shocked and felt like I was in La Land I didn’t even contest it further. Guys the hem was so bad.
I also had pants taken in so tight that my legs don’t fit through the bottom. And to take in my mens overshirt instead of properly taking in each side they added two darts in the back so it looks like a women’s blouse or like I’m an 18th C cartographer (not the look I was going for or requested).
I am surprised this place has 4.2 stars (as of Sept 2024) they must be hot and cold with their quality. I know they ship out alterations to third party tailors and maybe the inconsistency is there but I would never ever return here or recommend this place to anyone. I visited Parkdale Cleaners and subsequently my clothing items were ruined here awhile ago. But I’m still so mad about it I’m writing this review over two years later as some form of catharsis.

I had a fantastic experience with the owner of Parkdale cleaners Wasey Bani, he was very kind gentleman and when I entered his workshop he delighted my child with his favourite Guava Candy. When I went to his workshop to get a new zipper put on my jacket, he did it right away and supplied me with the best quality zipper. Would definitely recommend.

I had a fantastic experience with Parkdale Cleaner Sewing and Drycleaning. The staff was friendly and professional, making me feel welcome right away. My clothes came back looking spotless and perfectly pressed. I also had a couple of items altered, and the tailoring was impeccable. They truly pay attention to detail and take great care with each garment. The owner, Wasih Bani, is very nice and ensures that the service is top-notch. Their quick turnaround and excellent customer service make them my go-to for all dry cleaning and sewing needs. Highly recommend!

I have always received nothing but fantastic service at a very reasonable price from Parkdale cleaners. Do all my dry cleaning there and some clothing repair. Highly recommend.

The owner of the alteration where I brought my newly bought curtains to be bent is a rude creature. During the work, he tore one of the curtains from above, pulled up the outer pair carelessly and with a difference in length. I do not recommend this workshop. Artisanal work from the beginning of the 19th century.

Everything's a bit of a hassle here with the grumpy owner, and it's a bit expensive, but he got the job done. Maybe I caught him on a couple bad days. Going back to my old cleaners

I had one of the worst experiences with Abdul Wasih. I brought four of my pants for tailoring the length. He measured the height I agreed to. When I came to pick them up all 4 pants were different lengths and all 4 of them too short. I called him after and he was extremely rude to me on the phone and not letting me speak or explain myself. He verbatim said “I don’t have time to talk to you lady”, “that’s your problem” and “you are not being nice, be nice” when I was simply trying to explain the issue. Not only did he refuse to acknowledge the mistake, he refused to provide any solutions or help a paying customer, and was gaslighting me. I asked for a refund to which he verbatim responded “so you want money is that it?”. Absolutely baffled at how someone can treat a customer like that. Amazing work! The owner truly cares about what he does. He replaced a zipper on a pair of pants for me and took in the waist on two other pairs. Both pants are amazing and now fit like a glove! You have to try this place out if you need alterations.Services: Alterations

Paid $40 for a zipper change on my jacket. Not only did he put a navy blue zipper on a completely black jacket, the quality was also very cheap and the zipper was too long, which made it extremely difficult to zip up. Would not recommend.
