The most exquisite looking and delicious tasting chocolates I have ever bought. Each chocolate is a tiny work of art!The flavour combinations are interesting and unlike any other chocolates I have had before.I will definitely be buying many more of these wonderful chocolates.

Got my partner choclate from here for Valentine’s Day and she loved them! All the chocolates where unique and delicious, and the service upon pick-up was fantastic, I will definitely be back.

A fusion of East and West, chocolates filled with Asian flavors like mochi, matcha, white rabbit, durian, cardamom, and many more!An unassuming storefront I almost missed, and a small store inside. I did not want chocolates, but the Asian flavors got me, as in my mind they are less sweet yet quite different. I chose medium-sized gift box (16pc), small box is 8pc and large is 24pc. Chocolates look great and taste as good, not overly sweet and fresh.They have chocolate bars and ice creams as well, and a small variety of birthday and friendship cards (Asian themed and quite funny).Dietary restrictions: Chocolates are conveniently marked for dairy, glutein, nuts, and alcohol contentParking: You should be able to find parking along the street.

I wish the owner had informed me of the lunar new year collection when I mentioned wanting to gift a set of bonbons to my friend for the Chinese new year over the phone a few weeks prior. They put the lunar year collection up on their site just shortly afterwards, and I missed out! Seeing as how the majority of clients are purchasing their products as gifts, it would also be nice if they offered an option to include a gift ribbon with each box for a small additional fee.

I love this place. The flavors are so so creative and the staff was so passionate about them. Great place for gifts. Some of the chocolates are vegan so it would be easy to make it a small gift box for a vegan friend or anyone who loves diverse flavors ?

I have been buying chocolates from Onyx since he sold his beautiful bon bons out of Wong’s Ice Cream shop - his exotic and Asian inspired flavours are unparalleled when there are a lot of copycats in the city - you won’t find better flavours elsewhere, both intense but also perfectly balanced.I typically get the Asian inspired bon bon flavours like durian and pandan. However, I also love gifting all the chocolates as they are a work of art and so beautiful to look at - even the packaging is gorgeous! For my mother’s birthday I just got her one of the beautiful teddy bears filled with bon bons that you break with a hammer - it was a huge hit and my mom is not easily impressed.So proud to be able to call this chocolatier gem a local Leslieville spot. Thank you, Onyx Chocolate for the amazing service and delightful and unique chocolate treats.

This is such a hidden gem!!! I finally visited this past summer and grabbed some of their housemade ice cream… and it was incredible!!!Their 70% Valrhona dark chocolate is truly fantastic. Such high quality chocolate. So decadent. Loved the little bits of chocolate in there, too. And the whole thing was so creamy and not very sweet ??It was so good that I came back a few weeks later to buy another pint ? Also got to try another flavour - and loved it, too!Next time I’ll try their famous chocolates! Also, really kind owners!Please go visit and support this East End gem

We ordered our wedding favours from Onyx Chocolates and they were a hit with our guests! Gabe made the ordering process so easy and Hardy was kind enough to accommodate an earlier pick up time. The owner was very nice! He told us a lot about the chocolates and gave us an extra chocolate when I bought 2 boxes of 16 and a box of 4. The chocolates looked amazing and were very tasty. They were pricey, but we got them as gifts and expected it to be pricey.

In this box the flavours were: cocnut pandan, kalamansi kacap manis (MY PERSONAL FAVE), white rabbit, miso caramel black garlic (MOST INTERESTING), pei pa koa (if you know, you know), sudacchi cheesecake, lychee, and Vietnamese coffee. For someone who grew up in asia, I know all of these flavours very well, and I was amazed by how Onyx’s bon bons were able to capture these flavours and transform them into chocolate form. It was a little taste of home with every bite. The quality was superb, very well made! Aside from that, they look like a work of art, would make for a perfect gift

Love this chocolate shop with unique Asian-influenced flavours. Hawflakes chocolate bar is a recent fave. The shop also has Asian inspired ice cream by the half and full pints. Pei Pa Goa (iykyk) and hojicha are my go-tos.
