Very poor customer service. The people at the counter were rude. Probably they were not the owner of the stores. They were like judging our personality. I was so excited visiting the store but the people at the store made me feel so bad. Please teach the workers, what is customer service.

I had found her etsy shop and asked if she does pick up since we are in the same city. She was so kind to put the items on hold for me to pick up from her shop. I had a super busy week so i wasnt able to make it down there to pick up for while but i placed an order for pick up and she was happy enough to keep them there until i was able to. She even gave me an extra item for free!! Super kind and friendly. Definitely recommend this shop! Will be back again (:

Omo Bamboo Shop is the refill place that I have been hoping for in the area. The owner, Omo, is super friendly and helpful. I have only shopped. there twice and each time, she is grateful that you have brought your business to her store. Really appreciate the care and attention you receive when you go to shop at this store in Chinatown East.

I've had the pleasure of shopping at Omo Bamboo for my body soaps, and I can say with confidence that this store is a hidden gem for anyone who is seeking to live a more sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle. The handmade body soaps leave your skin feeling clean and refreshed. I highly recommend checking out this unique and fun store!

Great little eco friendly store offering a variety of products for refill as well as personal home and hygiene products. You can find bamboo items and natural skin products such as laundry dryer balls, travel bamboo cases, refills for laundry and soaps, reusable baking mats, toothbrushes, etc. The owner Omo is incredibly friendly!

Great selection and reasonable prices. Love the refillable liquid citrus-rose roll-on deodorant (it works). Also great for essentials, including; razors, blades, lotion and toothpaste.

I was lucky to catch the Owner, Omo, at the store's soft opening in Leslieville/Riverside at the heart of East Chinatown. I love that there is a new sustainable store in this neighbourhood. You can bring in a container to refill your bath supplies, and they also sell crafts and home goods that are reusable or made with renewable materials like bamboo. The prices for the goods are affordable. I picked up this elephant figurine and used it as an air plant holder for only about ~$10. It's handmade, so there are some natural imperfections. I love that the finish is smooth and doesn't have the rough texture of concrete. If you're into Fengshui, an elephant figure brings prosperity and good luck around the home. There was only one left when I bought mine. She splits her time running local markets on the weekends. So you'll only catch her in this storefront during the weekdays only for now. Check her IG for where she will be next and her Etsy shop for available goods. There is more in store than on her Etsy though. My only suggestion when she has the time is to update her website with her inventory of goods to allow for pick up in store so people can check back and see what's available. It also saves her the fees from Etsy.

I have bought Omowunmi's artwork from the Evergreen Brickworks farmers market. It is positively stunning and will definitely be back to buy more pieces as gifts.
