Nawzar Halal Meat Market is a butcher shop specializing in all sorts of fresh halal meats, groceries and ready to eat foods. Their food is available for delivery on UberEats and DoorDash. My haul consisted of their Sultan with Green Rice, Koobideh kabobs, Joojeh kabobs, ample heaps of polow rice and delicious Ghormeh Sabzi - considered the national dish of Iran dating back 5000 years. It elicits debates among chefs as to which herbs (tareh, parsley, scallion, cilantro, shanbalileh, etc.) and beans to include or exclude. Debates aside, it sure was tasty! Couldn't find a menu in store, either the prices really fluctuate daily on dishes or they make up random pricing. The jury is out in that one!I did note what their offerings were without looking at a menu. Shish kabob charcoal. Halal fresh meats. Ready to eat hot food. Spaghetti with lamb. Beef with safran rice. Chicken leg with cranberry rice. Lamb shank with green rice. Sultan with green rice. Waziri with cranberry rice. Khorma zabzi. Lobya polo, rice with ground veal and green beans. Ghimeh stow. Polow (white rice). Gheimeh (Qeimeh mutton khoresh) stew. Ground veal stick. Chicken kebab. Ayran yogurt drink. Next time I'll order a delivery of their Tahdig, and will try an order of their lamb spaghetti.

By far the best quality meat and chicken in all Toronto . The hot kitchen food and the charcoal kebabs are the best.

I've eaten here a couple of times and most recently, made an order on Christmas since I didn't feel like cooking and they were luckily open that day. The food is good. I enjoy the chicken and the rice is nice and light/fluffy. I also like the grilled tomatoes and pickles they give on the side. I'm sure I'll most certainly eat from here again in the future.

Excellent food quality, generous portions and the owner and his family are fantastic, don't forget to ask for Tadig the delicious crispy rice or pita from the bottom of the rice pot, it's free and they are more than happy to give it to you .Every Sunday 2 order of Lamb Shank and Baghali Pollo for $20 now that's a great deal!

We decided to try this place randomly because of an Uber eats coupon. Our risk turned out to be success as the food is quite good here.My understanding is this place is a meat market/grocery store/cooked food store. The lamb shank on dill rice was super addictive. Lamb shank was tender and flavorful, long grain rice cooked perfectly and dill was great. The beans add a nice soft texture and flavor. Could have kept eating that dish forever. The kefta kabab was also quite good. Good beef flavor but might be on the dry side because we ordered towards the end of the day and it had been sitting out?Price: A bit cheaper than most Persian restaurants which makes sense since it's a grocery store but the flavors are there. Definitely worth getting since the pandemic has everything closed and it's all takeout anyways!

I found this Turkish food while I was in a park nearby, I ordered lamb shank with dill rice and eggplant with meat ( I don't know the name) for take out. The food is so delicious. The portion is huge. This place is busy, there was a line up inside to order food. They sell fresh goat meat, pita's and a grocery store inside.

This is my favourite kabab place in Toronto! The kabab is so tender, well seasoned, and not too oily. The chicken is nicely grilled and has that slight charred flavour. I normally also order lamb liver, which they don't always have (it's my favourite). They make great platters for sharing, as pictured. They also include a large takeout box of rice and pita bread. The shop is also sells meats (they have a butchery) and Middle Eastern grocery items.
