I went here to buy an engagement ring for my then boyfriend a couple of weeks ago. I was helped by Hanna and she was just absolutely AMAZING! She was very patient and understanding with me when I was choosing the ring I wanted. I initially wanted the Kathleen but they didn’t have it in store and she was able to give alternatives that were just as beautiful. She was very knowledgeable as well and was able to answer all the questions I had for her. My now fiancé came back to the store a couple of weeks back to get his ring resized and she was the one who helped him! She remembered me and had a talk with my fiance regarding how the proposal happened. If you’re ever in need of any ring for whatever occasion, come to this location and ask for Hanna! My fiance bought my engagement ring from this shop back in 2022 and had an excellent experience in-person at the Toronto location. However, when it came time to purchase my wedding ring, it was an absolute disaster working with this company.
Firstly, I reached out to confirm the size of my engagement ring so I would know what size to order my wedding band. I spoke with them about this prior to placing my order. I ordered the size that was recommended to me, and when it arrived it couldn't even make it down half of my finger. It was also visibly smaller than my engagement ring which was listed as the same size.
When I reached out about this, they told me that bands fit differently than rings. If that's the case, then the ring should have been the same size of my engagement ring regardless. If it's a matter of fit, then they should have advised me to order a different size when I called in.
I was told I would have to pay to ship my ring back and it would take 2-3 weeks to resize it. With 8 weeks left until my wedding, that timeline seemed perfectly reasonable. However, Moissy's customer service is horrible, and their communication proved this.
3 weeks after shipping my ring with tracking and providing them the tracking number, I reached out again for a status of my ring. I was like "we have not received the ring yet." In my mind, I'm imagining that they mean they haven't received it back from being resized, but they actually meant they NEVER RECEIVED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. Weeks after it was labeled as delivered!
Their first response? Blaming me! They claimed that I put an incorrect address on the shipping label, when I used the exact address that is on the website, as well as what the person on the phone recited to me. Simply because the shipping label said "York, ON" instead of "North York, ON" (or vice versa, whatever) they said it was delivered to the wrong place (which was provden wrong).
They then said I had to open a dispute with Canada Post. Canada Post was never the issue - they delivered to the correct location and even provided me with proof that it was put in their mailbox. Still to this day I do not know what happend to the ring.
After being very upset about this whole process, instead of apologizing, the associate said that they had to reach out to the owner to figure out what to do. Where was the owner? "In another country," requiring me to wait for support, when I was clearly on a tight deadline due to this company's errors.
Once I heard back from the associate, there was no apology, no sympathy, just a "we will send you a new ring." They asked me what size I wanted and I told them, once again, that they already sized me and that the size that I ordered was completely incorrect, so I didn't feel comfortable making a decision on which size they should re-send. Since it was merely weeks before my wedding, I didn't have time to re-sized ANOTHER ring if it was incorrect. They told me on the phone that they would order one size up.
I asked for them to send me an email confirming this information and they immediately back-tracked, once it was in writing, and offered me a refund instead. I took the refund because I was absolutely sick of working with this horrible customer service and company.
I also asked for my shipping to be refunded considering I a) didn't mess up the size that I ordered - they did and b) that my ring was never resized. They told me to take it up with Canada Post and they would not issue a refund for shipping. Canada Post was amazing and ended up issuing a refund, even though they did their job. I still wanted to make note of this as it is clear that this company wouldn't even refund $17 after their major mistake.

The team at Moissy did an amazing job on my engagement ring and my husband’s wedding band. Since moissanite has become more popular recently, it’s been hard to find jewellers who know what they’re talking about and have experience working with the stone. Walking into the store was a totally different experience than other places where we’d browsed for engagement rings. I found a unique design that I fell in love with, and the team made it easy to customize it to get it to fit in our budget. The ring and the lifetime warranty was reasonably priced and we haven’t had any issues with the manufacturing almost two years later.

We paid close to $4500 for my ring, this is now the 3rd time a side stone has fallen out!!!! I am retired so definatley not hard on my rings.. i could see once, but the second time i was livid as it happened again!!! Now this is the third time!!!! Obviously a flaw in design. I asked to exchange and they said no ...buyer beware. I am waiting for a call to resolve issue .

Love Moissy! They were able to make my dream ring come true! The staff was super patient, while I narrowed down my choices because they had a lot, but I never felt pressured. We were going to order my ring but we were able to leave with my ring on the same day which was a bonus because I didn't want to wait once I fell in love. Thank you Moissy, I will be back for some earrings soon!

If I could, I would leave a 0/5 star review.I am not the type to leave reviews of any kind. But my experience was so frustrating, I just had to share.Please, if you are looking into getting a ring from this establishment, read the fine print. My wedding ring which was purchased in September 2022 (less than a year ago) had its stone fall right out of the centre! The prongs holding up the diamond were not pried on or bent because as stated, the stone literally fell out! I had only noticed when I took my ring off that it was missing.Disappointed is an understatement. This should not have happened. I do not wear my ring on a daily basis. Only for a couple hours on the weekend AT MOST. I am EXTREMELY gentle with my ring and worry for it being damaged only to realize that I had a faulty, defective ring this entire time.What’s worse is my husband called the store manager Sandra who was unable to assist and directed us the upper management, Colleen. After sending her a detailed email with pictures and explaining the situation of my ring to her, she ultimately left my husband with JUST a 10% discount and waving the service fee (a values close to maybe $300?!) and told him he had to pay the rest to replace the stone.I would understand this happening if I was rough with my ring, wore it frequently, washed my hands with it and etc. EVEN in those cases anyone would safely assume that the ring they had made was made for its intended use- to be WORN.This is incredibly disheartening. A wedding ring is such a special gift. You would expect it to be crafted at the utmost highest standard. And, should there be damage, that there be a warranty that covers DEFECTIVE items. It pains me to pay to replace this stone as I would rather just get all of my money back and get a ring made from an establishment that can create great quality pieces.Please, if you are looking at getting a ring, avoid Moissy Toronto. God forbid you run into a similar situation and are left with a defected ring and a frustrating customer experience.

Amazing company!! I requested a custom made piece on three separate occasions. Most recently I had a 50th wedding anniversary ID bracelet made. Went to browse for engagement rings with my fiance around a year ago and had a fabulous experience! The woman would helped us was super knowledgeable and helped us narrow down styles we were looking for. She also informed us about the option to customize any existing style which is what we ended up doing. I've been wearing my ring for a few months now and I could not have been more happy with the way it turned out. The sparkle is so beautiful and the customizations were so easy to make - the ring is perfect!
