When we first step into MjoLK, it gives a museum vibe, or is it an art gallery? Everything was identified & labelled. Some pieces are one of a kind, while some are imported. John, the owner, kindly walked us through some of their items and their origin. Very interesting indeed. My heartbeat rate was slower, and the atmosphere was so relaxed to browse all the interesting things that were beautifully curated. This is the place if you love simplicity, Scandinavia, Japan or local timeless design.

The best Home store in the city? I think so. Just visiting is uplifting and informative to me. The best in Japanese - Scandinavian - modern design . Absolutely beautiful furniture offered. I particularly like that the husband and wife team that curate / operate the shop hold strong to their aesthetic and design principals. Take your time browsing and take the time to notice the details, simplicity and functionality of the many items from Japan and other places.
