I've been shopping there since 2009, and the staff has always been kind and great. I'm giving one star because in 2024, I have already encountered four spoiled items from the fridge—three of them in the last month. Earlier this year, I got really sick from a yogurt. In the past 30 days, I found a yogurt with mold and two green juices that were fermented (not kombucha).
After the first incident, I received a refund and a $25 gift card. I also asked them to remove that yogurt from the fridge as it made me really sick. For the other spoiled products, I only received refunds. There’s no compensation for the sickness, the medicine you have to buy, etc., and worse, they are not fixing the fridge. I wonder how many people are getting sick from products that are spoiled due to their fridges. I was told they are audited five times a year, but that’s it—nothing has been addressed, and they don't seem to care about their customers. After all these years of shopping there, it's really unfortunate.
I spoke to the managers every time.

I primarily shop here because it is conveniently situated, but when an item's sale is over they take down the sale sign and don't put up the regular price sign, so how are we supposed to know the actual price?
The cashier was paranoid in that after activating the gift card, she held onto it to wait until my payment went through. She obviously ass'umes certain customers are thieves.

I wish baby carriages were not allowed in the store during peak hours, because I almost got run over by a careless mother bombarding her baby carriage throughout the store--she bumped me and did not seem to be grocery shopping. They should not be racing their carriages in a crowded store--something seriously wacky here.

This is about the only store where I get harrassed by over-45-year-old neurotic customers who like to pick on younger customers and hassle us--they just like to be bossy, like that orange haired short old woman who "silently stood out of my line of vision" while I was busy looking at produce and expected me to know she wants to get by. Meanwhile, there was lots of empty space to her left to walk through but instead she has a fit at me and clearly wanted to start a quarrel.
I saw an old man get angry at a young customer because he stood "behind" her and expected her to see him there. If you need to get by, you need to alert the person by politely saying "excuse me, I need to get by". Being old does not entitle one to be abusive to others. These middle-aged customers act arrogantly such as shaking their heads at us, huffing and puffing at us...when they are the ones with the problem. This is giving me major headaches.

I used to go there for 3 years now. They do have a good stock and quality overall
But recently for the last months, I bought a dozen of rotten products: carrots, salads, milk, meat, fish, fruits
Please do something about it if you don’t want to poison somebody

The meat department in particular is almost always out of the sale items. It’s day one of the new flyer, and within the hour, nothing is actually out and available.
I get that things happen, but it is a consistent issue with the meat department.

worst grocery store in the area. produce is old and the last 4 times i bought meat it was clearly expired as i could tell by the smell when i got home, the the best before date was several days in the future. never coming here again
