I have watched Joe’s development over the years and am not surprised at all by the familial and comfortable interaction each customer has with Joe (whether it is their first or 30th visit with him). Joe becomes family very quickly and not because he particularly strives for it, it is simply because that is who he is. Salespeople generally pretend to listen … not Joe. He listens very hard with great interest and care. He wants to know you for two reasons. Firstly, because he just does, that’s Joe. Secondly, because it will guide him in crafting your sartorial profile to match your personality. It is amazing how he gets the outfit right time after time … after time.
