Meeplemart is a store for nerds. Pretty much everything non-electronic and gaming related can be found here.
But where they are by far strongest, this store has everything a miniature painter needs. Whether you are into painting armies or for encounters they should have all you need and more besides.

Interactions with staff are awkward at best. You'll usually get the attitude of somehow being an inconvenience even if all you've done is ring up an order. Owner is oddly argumentative. Didn't always used to be this way, but it's gotten worse over the years.
Incredible selection, prices used to be great but are already only acceptable and are trending higher than the average, and stock runs out quickly. If your hobby goes on a table, they almost definitely sell it for some length of time, but not always for very long; use restock notification when able. Website really needs an update and still lacks sorting by stock, but the shipping prices, while not great, are usually good.
If possible I highly recommend just shopping with their website, as you'll avoid being treated like a nuisance this way.

I never thought id write a bad review for this place because it was my favourite boardgame/hobby store in the entire city. However, after my experience today, i will no longer be a meeplemart customer. My wife and I came to play on the pinball machines 2 weeks ago and we knew that the machines were going to be relocated to an arcade that charges a flat fee. So, before buying tokens, we asked "if I buy tokens here, will I be able to use them at the new location without paying the flat fee?" The associate replied "ummmmm....yeah you should be able to use them. There should be a transitional period between existing customers with tokens and new customers paying the flat rate". The associate should have told me that they dont know the answer or just a straight "no" because after I spoke with them today, they refused to honor their previous statement and would not refund my tokens. I trusted this place to not scam me for a few dollars. I was wrong. Meeplemart is willing to drop a lifetime customer for $8 worth of tokens and that is just pathetic. So this is goodbye, Meeplemart.

Weird experience, wanted our small bags so we left.
I understand security, but wanting to take my small plastic bag with takeout in it and my girlfriend’s small clutch bag is a little excessive. There’s nothing we could even put in here. Not to mention is she expected to carry her valuables by hand or leave her wallet and money with a stranger?

Amazingly cool store with a large selection for tabletop games. Great for Warhammer and D&D items. Service should and could be better.

Warhammer, DnD, gundams, anime figs, board games - anything that you play on a table can probably be found here. Big selection of things too - including painting, and modelling supplies.
Also a really great pinball arcade in the back! Fair prices for the arcade too, bring cash for a slightly better deal on coins.
You'll have to check your bag at the front, but I've never had any issues with my stuff. Staff are super helpful, friendly and trustworthy. I really do love coming to this store!

What brings us here is the huge selection of product but it comes with Toronto prices. They recently or maybe it's more active now installed a ton of pin ball machines. I don't go there to play but holy cow is it loud and obnoxious. It shorten my impulse buying because I couldn't do the sound anymore. They have a ton of wicked dice, are really amping up organization of miniatures, and pumped up Gundam wing models. Still a cool place just not quite.
