Andy and the grill time staff are friendly and welcoming… the food should get 6 out of 5 stars… and I don’t know many places where you can sit around the grill and get a premium steak cooked to order… or a premium sandwich…. ( They also have Keto options….) wonderful place!!!5 Stars !!!! AAAAAA ++++++”

“I've been to roast a few times and will offer this advice: Speak to the butcher. They are very knowledgeable about their products and give great recommendations. A couple times I've outlined an upcoming event, or asked for their advice on a dinner idea, and with their guidance always knocked it out of the park. Quality product and people.”

“I was there last week looking to buy chicken legs and some salmon, and the Asian guy working there refused to serve me, he sent me to wait for the seafood guy who was with another customer, after 5 or so minutes it was my turn, he was super polite and knowledgeable . During our conversation I could hear the same Asian employee and another man around the same age start arguing and yelling at each other. I hope the owners put a stop to this, BTW the salmon was great”
“I have been going to the Meat Dept. for many years now ever since I first went to their Danforth location. Yes there are a few butchers close to where I live, but I always go back to the MD. From the rock and roll always playing, to the friendly staff, it has never let us down. Also, the meat is top quality and seems on par with what it should cost for what you get. The kids have grown up with me going to MD and always know to look for the circle sign with the cleaver on it when on Roncy. We did our annual steak dinner for NYD and the steak was excellent as always. Thanks MD.”
“I've been many times, bought maybe 50lb of beef and 50lb of chicken total - quality has been very good, more consistent than grocery stores.They will vacuum seal meat for free on request, which is great for a sous vide brisket, ribs, or steak.”

Proper old-fashioned style butcher shop with friendly staff and high quality produce that is often cheaper than supermarkets. Bob was particularly helpful and carried my purchase to the door as I had my dog with me. 10/10 service.”
“Delicious, but staff need to know what’s in the prepared items. They often cannot answer whether specific allergens are in any of the items and just try to guess what’s inside by looking at it. Not great.”
