I have been a long time customer, buying all my baby items from Macklem's since 2015. I went back yesterday to buy a new car seat for my fourth baby due in February. Although it's quite a drive from my home (1 hour), it's totally worth it! Their expertise, professionalism and customer service are unrivalled.

I am so incredibly happy I stumbled upon macklem’s! Debbie the owner is so welcoming and super helpful - especially for first time parents her advice and knowledge helped us so much. We really valued someone giving us an honest opinion living in a world of misconstrued info from the internet, Debbie helped us every step of the way. I was pleased to set up a registry here and it was seamless, I am happy to support a local business who’s filled with knowledge and values their customers as opposed to a big corporation, can’t reccomend this place enough!! Especially if it’s your first - it’s not so intimidating buying baby stuff when you have friendly faces to guide you every step of the way. Thank you again !

We had the best experience with Macklem's.
I had my baby registry here and found the process easy to set up online. Debbie offered to help if I needed any along the way but the fact that they have a curated selection of quality items made it easier to sort through than a big box store that carries seemingly everything. It was a lot less overwhelming than trying to make a registry at a larger store.
All of the staff are friendly and helpful. And the perks of having a registry are on par with large stores but it's nice to shop at a smaller store where they give more personalized assistance.
Highly recommend for any soon-to-be parents :)

Excellent service, I have called the shop to check if they have an item I was interested in stock, after confirming they do, they very kindly agreed to price match it so I felt fully satisfied (also thank you for a going beyond that and taking under consideration my young son's preference) It was waiting ready for us to pick up apon our arrival and all of the stuff were very nice. I will definitely come back in future as I appreciate they customer oriented service and kindness.

A luxury baby store, that captures the essence of traditional customer service, this establishment is a true gem, filled with a wealth of knowledgeable staff. My wife and I were referred to Macklem’s Baby Store by several families from the beaches and uptown area. While searching for the ideal stroller for our soon-to-arrive twins, the sales associate devoted her time to thoroughly explaining our options. I must emphasize that she was the most informative person we encountered during our shopping experience. We quickly grew fond of Macklem’s and their outstanding service. We even established a baby registry with them, which offers some excellent benefits. For anyone seeking a side-by-side stroller for twins, I highly recommend the Bugaboo Donkey!

Friendly staff, very helpful And informative.
Each of the staff were very welcoming and have a good variety of strollers car seats, and other baby items. Organized and have most if not all of the new products. Very comfortable Shopping experience.

I’ve always had a great experience here. The staff are super friendly and possess all the knowledge you need to make informed decisions on products and brands for your baby. Special shout-out to the lady who was working today for running me through all I needed to know about strollers/car seats and letting me test the models. Plus, it’s a local neighbourhood spot so great to support!

I wanted to tell you about my experience finding the right stroller. I visited Macklem’s to look for the perfect stroller for our needs. The sales associate asked us what we were looking for in a stroller, and we shared the features that mattered most to us. She showed us several options that included those features. We really wanted a large basket, an easy fold, a stroller that stands when folded, a bassinet, and compatibility with a car seat.
In the end, we chose the UPPAbaby Vista V3 along with the bassinet and the Mesa V2 car seat. We also got a bassinet stand so we could use it at home. Once we’re done with the stand, we can turn it into a clothes hamper by getting a special insert.
On our next visit, we plan to pick up some bathing, feeding, swaddling items, and products from Fridababy and FridaMom.
The staff at Macklem’s were super helpful and really knew their stuff.
We definitely recommend Macklem’s.
