The worst customer service of my life.
I placed an order for 2 bags and went to pick them up after a week as I received a call that got stamping is done.
When I went a white women was standing and she was so RUDE. literally I had my receipt in hand and also I told her my first and last name as that was on receipt and she said it’s common sense to carry a ID. I am a tourist and not a student. Why will I carry my passport everywhere. I had my recipe and I paid for that. I showed the receipt so no questions should be done. The way she was talking I felt very racist. Will never shop from the store again. Moreover, the same week I shopped from YSL, and Gucci and they were way better than this store.
Hated the customer service. It’s a solid 0/100.
Sorry to say but this behaviour is not acceptable. Just so my name is having a kaur they asked for an id. I mean bruh. I PAID.

Very mixed feelings about the customer service here. When I went about a week ago, the lady helping me out was amazing as I had a couple questions. Today when I went in, the lady helping me out was quite snarky.

Wonderful customer service from the gentleman who worked late afternoon on Thursday, September 26th 2024. He approached me immediately, and knew what I wanted - even got out a new one from the back and checked which one I purchased in the past so I don't make the same mistake ordering the same size. I hope H.O sees this as he was fantastic! Not too impressed however with the two other Asian women who worked with him this evening. One gave me a very fake smile while she looked me up and down and the other didn't even acknowledge me and pretended to look busy. I get this is a luxury store and I came in after work wearing a Terry Fox t shirt and exhausted from working all day with special needs students in the school board - and I know how pretentious and snobby Yorkdale mall has gotten, which is why I try to prevent going in in the first place (I ordered my previous Longchamp bag online because I know how snobby this mall can get) but I needed to see the sizes of the bag I wanted to get for myself. I do not appreciate the snobbery from the two Asian women but I am very grateful for how respectful the male staff was to me. I don't know if this sort of pretentiousness is part of the hiring process because I work in the school board and not in customer service, but it drives customers away. Especially those who do make more than enough money to splurge, regardless of what they wear coming into the store after a long hard work day.
Date and time of visit: 4-6pm Thursday September 26th.
Staff: Caucausian male and two asian females.
To asian female staff: please treat all your customers with respect. You don't know who comes into your store. Don't give a great brand like Longchamp a bad name here in Toronto.

Months ago I came in here with someone who looked put together, while I wasn’t that day. A sales associate greeted her and completely ignored me when we were coming into the store. Didn’t even look at me, as if I don’t exist. Went in again a few days ago and this female sales associate just walked right in front of me and someone else and stood there staring at nothingness. As if she wants to purposely show us that she wants to ignore us and make us feel bad. There was a nice man who helped me, but the female sales associates which both times I think were Slavic, need to learn to treat customers better.

My bag zip broke after 6 month of wear and I went in for a repair. I was told I need to pay in order to get it fixed. I refused that and the staff finally agreed to have it replaced for free but when I went to pick it up, I was told I need to pay again. I had to explain that it was agreed when I drop off the bag that the replacement will be done for free. Then the staff agreed to not charge me. But the repair was not done well. My original zip has a piece leather strip hanging down and new zip is just a plain zip. The staff are not engaging when I have my repair done since I’m not contributing any sales to them. No smile or anything. Not good experience.

Went to Longchamp, long waiting line, an old lady behind us keeps complaining about a poor Asian lady who is sitting in the store; she keeps nagging about why people just come here for browsing only (puff, so snoopy). Finally, a white male staff named Brian took us from the line, and after less than 2 minutes of conversation, the nagging lady comes to the store. As soon as Brian saw them, he just ditched us and ran for his favorite customer. Later on, another staff member told me it was because Brian had helped them before. I was left there full of confusion and anger. I'm okay with someone helping me, but at least have the courtesy to ask for my consent. I also noticed that Brian looks very delighted when he is serving people who are the same race as him. Based on the fact that he ditched me for a Caucasian family after two minutes of conversation without even knowing my needs, I can't help but wonder: does he always treat Asian clients like this? An explanation needs to be provided for his behavior. The manager should delve into his staff's professionalism and thoroughly read those comments.

We went to the Long champs store to buy a couple of bags for friends at Christmas. Brian was amazing. Our visit, even though the mall was a mad house was above and beyond. We bought 2 la pilage , 1 small pouch, our bill was so low, under 600.00, and were still treated very, very well. I didn't get snobby or rude at all. I'll make the trip to Yorkdale as opposed to buying online going forward. The bags are the best. I have xl, Lge and medium Lapillage. I'm buying leather next. Thanks again Brian!

Had a great experience with the sales ambassador Brian. He’s extremely kind and helped me pick the right bag. I am very happy with my first longchamp purchase and with Brian’s customer service!
