Formal Complaint Regarding Discrimination and Unprofessional Behavior at Queen Street LCBOTo Whom It May Concern,I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding a distressing incident that occurred during my visit to the 619 Queen Street West LCBO on November 1st 2023 at approximately 8 pm. Over the past year, I have entered this LCBO location multiple times, accompanied by my service dog, and have consistently presented my service dog's certification to the security personnel at the entrance, in accordance with all relevant regulations.On this particular occasion, however, I experienced a deeply troubling encounter with one of your employees, Lisa. After entering the store and showing my service dog's certification, I was met with harsh and disrespectful behavior from Lisa. She loudly and rudely informed me that she would not serve me. Despite my immediate approach to the counter, where I once again displayed my service dog's certification and even presented my dog's tag attached to its collar, Lisa adamantly refused to accept it. She went as far as to question whether the certification belonged to a different dog, causing further embarrassment and discomfort.Feeling disheartened and unjustly treated, I requested the presence of the store manager, Adolfo Felix, in an attempt to address this situation and seek an apology for Lisa's unprofessional behavior.To my great disappointment, both Lisa and Mr. Felix denied my request for an apology. Instead, I was placed in the distressing position of having to apologize to Lisa for raising a concern and inadvertently matching her tone, which I reluctantly did. However, this did not change the fact that, despite presenting the proper certification for my service dog, I was refused service and ultimately left the store without making a purchase.I find it incredibly disheartening that such unprofessional and discriminatory behavior has occurred not just once, but on multiple occasions at this specific location. As a valued customer, I believe that all patrons, including those with service animals, should be treated with respect, dignity, and understanding.I kindly request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and take the necessary steps to ensure that such incidents do not reoccur in the future. Employees at this location should be educated about the regulations regarding service animals and encouraged to uphold a higher standard of customer service.I look forward to your response and sincerely hope that you will take appropriate action to address and rectify this situation. I believe that the LCBO should be a place where all customers can shop in a welcoming and inclusive environment.Sincerely,

How can you not provide paper bags for glass bottles?? Literally the cheapest thing in the world. Make sure to bring a bag from the beer store for your purchase

While at the store, I was looking for something that I like and the security made me feel so uncomfortable this will be my first and last time ever coming to this store. I was literally followed around the store.

June 18th, 4.30pmYour male colleague stocking the shelves smelled so badly of bodily odor that i could smell him from the next aisle! I felt very nauseous.I don’t understand why he was allowed to work in that state, its not acceptable.

I called in my order to see if what I wanted was in stock. Fortunately, Campania was! I was told it was held for me. When I got there, it was ready! Helps, to know that it was in stock. I have difficulty walking so by this it saved me a trip to make sure it was in stock! I appreciated that.help!

This is a pretty small location. Best to hit up the LCBO on Spadina at Clarence Square instead - soooo much more selection.
