There were two cashiers with one serving a customer with his closed sign up. I would have been happy to wait 20 seconds for the other cashier, but he removed his sign with a big, dramatic sigh and yelled next! I put the products through the small square, bar codes facing him, thinking this would make his job easier. Instead e got mad and said "next time put them at the end so they don't get scanned accidentally" I said sorry, I thought closer would be easier. I now have my card in the machine when he starts repeating himself. I said I understood, he doesn't have to repeat himself. He starts yelling again and asking me if I want to get served or not!?! I asked him if he's upset because he had his closed sign up and was ready to leave cash. He said he was closing, but he saw a line up (true) and he was about to put out stock for "you people" That's right "you people" now I wonder if other negative reviews accusing a cashier of being racist is the same person. Nice to know that's how you think of your tax paying customers. BTW, maybe you should remove the shields that do nothing for safety or hygiene and maybe don't be pissy because the public didn't support your strike.

The staff are very short and rude and don’t give you any time of their day. The horrible comments and looks we had for accidentally knocking over a bottle sitting on the edge of the isle… not really necessary.
Sadly dampened our trip to Toronto experience after a long travel day…

LCBO. Not a ton of coolers in the fridge section. People in this store were stealing alcohol almost openly and at will, despite security being inside.

Very rude manager shouted to tell people the shop was closed and then accused this guy (who had only just walked in) of shoplifting because he didn’t stop at the checkout (nor did I for the same reason). ‘Got something you wanna pay for there, buddy?’ In an aggressive tone. Well, sure enough he didn’t have. Disgusting behaviour towards a customer.

Very rude old guy at the counter around 5:30 on Monday July 29, slammed my change on the counter. A little customer service training would help him and this location go a long way.

Jessica, well thank you for apologizing for me, but still the old guy cashier was very very rude and he has a death face I went to him when he was free and he advised me to go to another cashier. Once I moved he called another customer that was behind me he said next. The only reason for that maybe he didn’t like my face maybe he’s a racist. When I asked the other cashier why he did that he told me that he doesn’t know why he did that and when you came, you had the same answer. I don’t know why he did that and you were laughing with another cashier in front of me making some stupid jokes you didn’t take it seriously and didn’t listen for me even, let me tell you that you are unprofessional and the cashier is rude and racist and his face is ugly and he had death face, and he doesn’t know how to talk with customers, the likes like you must be far away from customers you know at your ages sitting at home is the best thing you can do for the society.

Good selection of liquors and wines, but some of the cashiers , PETER to be specific, have a noticeable attitude change if you don’t have a native accent. Disappointing experience with customer service.

I went in today and the two individuals working the cash just made my day and the day of the other customers. Don’t remember their names but one had shorter red hair and the other was a bald headed individual. Both are funny! Thank you!!!
