Last night we were passing by bus and saw this convenience store . My wife , an avid netflix realised it is the same location for popular Netflix Series "Kim's Convenience".
Even though we did not meet with Jung or Janet instead we were warmly greeted by the real owner of the shop. The real shop owner was kind enough to give us a souvenir and explain to us about how and when his shop became the set place for the film. Also , a little bit history about his shop. A great time to finish the evening . ????

For fans of the show, it’s a fun shop to visit. It’s a standard mom&pop convenience store. Has snacks, drinks, beer&wine. What really makes this place great to visit is the gentleman working there. He was so nice, showing us different things from the show, letting us sign the book. An absolute pleasure to chat with. Anytime I go by this area, I’ll stop by this store to grab snacks just because of this visit

That's my favorite tv shows Kim's Convenience episodes on Netflix. My family and I just surprise to see Kim's Convenience shop in Toronto Canada ?? and the owner is super friendly. From Brisbane, Australia ??✌️

That place at Kim’s convenience store.
Maybe it's because a lot of time has passed since the drama ended. Once upon a time, this place was there, only traces remained.
It is said that the store has already been sold around 2021 and is being run by another owner. When I visited, a woman with blue hair was running the business (she was watching a Korean drama).
However, if you are planning to visit, be prepared as this neighborhood is not very safe.
(The park next door is said to be a place where there are a lot of homeless people and a lot of drug users)

Honestly kinda disappointed, it lookwd alot like in the show except dirtier and spookier. I know it's not entirely their fault as it is located in a bad part of town. Although the cashier was very friendly.
