I love Kate Spade merchandise, however the Yorkdale Manager I dealt with, I wish I remembered her name had extremely terrible customer service! I perhaps should have written this review a lot earlier since the incident happened months ago. Oh well...never too late to share an experience!
I showed interest in purchasing a beautiful pair of watermelon heeled sandals that Connie showed me in the show case. It was brand new to the store at the time. Loved them immediately, however, I noted a fault in the leather. The manager was requested to examine the shoe and the best response she could give me is that that's how it is and there is no damage she could see. She even walked over to another leather product to try and convince me that's how the leather is made!
Clearly comparing "apples to oranges"
She was totally trying to underestimate my knowledge base and visual credibility. I even told her I wasn't new to Kate Spade. (made no difference to her)
Personally she should have offered alternatives regarding the sandal or taken it off the shelf so that no one else would purchase and realize when at home the imperfection.
Not being truthful is a real "turn off" She should have returned that shoe to the manufacturer, rather than selling it. She then walked away to her back room! No interest in my service.
I nearly walked away, aswell, but Connie the lovely salesperson she is was very patient and I'm sure she could see what I saw, stayed present as I looked at another size/ sandal and luckily success!! I found another intact sandal. I certainly would have left the store if it wasn't for Connie!
Connie has such a captivating personality!! I felt and observed her true interest she displayed towards her customers, not only towards me, but with other customers. She was right by my side until I was satisfied and happy with my purchase!! That manager deserves no credit! No asset to Kate Spade! I never returned, to the store, that's the reason.
Customer service is the utmost value! I will perhaps some day check if that Manager is still working there.
Don't let her fool you! She has no interest in the customer other than to make a purchase whether the product is in good standing or not and perhaps the average customer would not see the flaw, but I'm a perfectionist and when I purchase an item, especially full price I expect perfection.
Connie is a 5/5 star! She is the best!! I still have her business card, but due to the Managers attitude, my business has been in the hands of those who treat their customers with respect!
The Manager's experience I would rate actually 0/5. Very disappointing!

Connie. You are a STAR. This was the best customer service I have EVER received. I want to thank you for being so kind, I left with a huge smile on my face. You remind me that there are still some good people in the world.

Some staff are very friendly, some are a bit cold and fake friendly, but overall it's a good store and I was able to do an exchange for an item purchased at the outlet store.

My wife bought a pair of shoes/sandals at the store but,her size wasn't available, so one of the sales rep. ordered her online and where it's available to be delivered to our residence address,the problem was,she was supposed to pay at the front cashier because they already ordered online,but the sales rep. doesn't want to let my wife pay,(this was last Thursday, April 4 around 4 or 5 p.m.)she said,the sales rep.,you can pay online..after few min..my wife tried to do all the online payment but their system shows that the prompt from their website doesn't match the mobile number of my wife..So,this means that it seems their was a complicated situation,so my wife called the website 3 times to verify everything...but it didn't work at all...my wife ended up canceling her order...Heads up resolution,the sales rep.at the store should have taken the payment to make the purchase resolved in a timely manner.

Very friendly but can only give 2 stars. I went in today to put up an item I had already paid for. They literally just handed me the item without verifying that the item was even mine. Didn't ask for ID or a receipt. Kinda strange anyone can walk in and give your name and take the item you've already paid for.

I recently visited the Kate Spade store at Yorkdale Mall, and I must say I like their products. However, it's with a heavy heart that I find myself consistently opting for online shopping over visiting the store due to the unprofessional behavior of the staff.The store is brimming with Kate Spade's delightful offerings, but my shopping experiences have been marred by the staff's discourteous comments, not just towards me but other customers as well. It's disheartening to witness fellow shoppers leaving the store, clearly uncomfortable due to these interactions.In particular, there's an elderly lady on staff who stands out for her discourteous conduct. I believe that the presence of such an unprofessional employee reflects poorly on the entire store's atmosphere.It's truly a shame that such a reputable brand's store fails to provide a pleasant in-store experience. Consequently, I have resorted to ordering Kate Spade items online, where I can enjoy the products without the discomfort of dealing with rude staff. I hope that the management addresses these issues, as it's driving loyal customers like myself away from the physical store.

The staff in Kate Spade Yorkdale are simply amazing. Excellent customer service from the store manager to the store associates. The best place to fulfill your retail therapy needs.Shout out to Connie and Lorna for always helping me out for my shopping needs and thanks also to their store manager JC.I always have the best shopping experience at their store.Thanks heaps!!!!

I do not shop Kate Spade but I had purchased a bag from their outlet store as they had an item my friend asked for. Unfortunately they didn’t have any medium-sized gift boxes in stock, only large. I went to the Yorkdale location and they refused to sell me a gift box and told me to go to another store like Indigo. I’m pretty sure your store is low in sales and you could have allowed me to purchase a gift box. Ugh.

The worst store of kate spade I have been to the cashier was so rude and arrogant I went there to buy some bags the way she judged us and never even bothered to reply us properly, after this I won’t ever recommend to go to this store.
