“Been to several Telus stores in n the city over the years, but I always come back to this place at the Dufferin Mall. Store may be on the small side, but what they don’t have on space, the staff more than make up for it with customer care and great service. A very special shout out to Gabriella and Aubrey for going beyond with helping me. If it’s a bit out of the way for you, I do urge you to make the effort.”

“We have used Beanfield in our new condo since our building was completed in 2018 and are cancelling our service now only because we are leaving the province. We can't recommend them enough. Over the six years we used them, Beanfield provided reliable, ultra high speed service that never went out - not once. Our monthly fees have not gone up a single cent. Whenever we called them (to inquire about service at another location for example), a live human being answered with a minute. If every service provider behaved like Beanfield, the world would be a happier place.”

“First of all, I hesitated for a moment to subscribe to their Internet service when I saw the comments here on Google.

It was Fido who sent me an email regarding a special offer from Comwave for Fido/Rogers Mobile subscribers. I paid $65 with Telus for 250Mbps and with Comwave I had the possibility of having 120Mbps for $20.25 until December 31, 2025, still a nice saving and it still met my needs.

Some people say in the comments that the customer service is “horrible” or even “incompetent”. Personally, I contacted customer service twice for questions and clarifications, really no problem, very courteous staff and they were able to answer me correctly.

I had subscribed to the service on a Friday, the following Tuesday I received notification that the Modem/Wi-Fi had been shipped and that no technician would be needed for installation. On Friday of the same week I received the package by Purolator while my service began the next day at 5 p.m.

The only downside that I can mention is after unpacking this equipment, their Modem/Wi-Fi felt ultra cheap in hand and indeed the performance of the router part was very inconsistent, even in local network, big congestion with only one device in Wi-Fi and the other in LAN on OpenSpeedTest. I already had my own Wi-Fi 6 router, so I put their equipment in Bridge mode only and use my own router for the network, it works perfectly fine.

In summary for my experience I find it better than Telus apart from the equipment provided, especially for the price at the special rate. Try to contact Telus on a Friday, you will tell me the news :)”
