Excellent experience today at the Bloor location.
I was looking for a specific thing from a website. One associate who welcomed me told me this isn’t available at this location.
Than Hazel approached me and she was so extremely nice and helpful. She found the item I was looking for immediately .
Her professionalism was 100% .
Thank you Hazel for helping me to find what I was looking for ?
Also I wanna mention and thank Anna from the Chanel what an amazing beauty advisor .
Costumer service at this location is top notch.
I always wanna be back .

Vincent from Creed is the worst nightmare. I wish to see him fired. But he said he’s the manager and I don’t know who he reports to.
A lot of salesman like him are very bad with customer service. As there’s no option to review each brand separately, these people are thriving.

Stay away! Never go back to holt renfrew on Bloor.
Just deal directly with the designer you love.

Hm, not sure what happened to this location. The brands and products it carries are lacking.... kind of a semi sleepy vibe.
But the valet service is great!

Great selection of fragrances and they always have good gift with purchase promotion, however my low review is based on my experience with one of the sales associates there.
I drop by the fragrance department at least twice a week, usually at Jo Malone and Maison Francis Kurkdjian. In November I stumbled upon Creed, which I’ve never experienced (I own Aerin, Jo Malone, Byredo but don’t own any Creed). Really intrigued and want to possess one Creed to my collection, I come by 1-2 times a week sampling their perfumes and researching which scent is suitable for me because making an $700 purchase for a 100mL parfum is a big commitment. However, every single morning I come here (since November) the sales associate Vincent is always on his phone. When I come during my lunch break (and there’s some foot traffic), he’s still on his phone. I’m not sure if it’s because he’s too busy with clients on his phone, but as someone who’s worked in customer service, when there are clients physically INSIDE the store and ready to potentially make purchases, you should acknowledge them first. Your clients on the phone, who is not in the store, you can get back to when the store traffic has left, so obviously time management is not a part of their skill set.
My last visit in December was the last straw and have not visited since. I decided to finally purchase the Virgin Island Water from Creed. I wanted to sample the Virgin Island Water one more time but it was empty. I politely interrupted his phone time to ask if I could sample it but he said that it’s currently out and went back on his phone. A blonde lady came in right after and started to admire the Creed counter beside me, which the sales, Vincent, miraculously put his phone down (which I’ve never seen happened) and the customer asked me for my opinion on which one I liked and I said the Virgin Island Water. She took the bottle but I told her it was empty. And to my surprise, Vincent pulled a spare bottle from the bottom of the drawer to let her sample. I guess she seemed more fit for him to invest time in since he assumed I had no desire to purchase.
My purchase of Virgin Island Water ended up being from Saks Fifth Avenue at Eaton Centre because I didn’t want contribute my purchase to his sales. To anyone who wants to try new fragrances (or Creed in general), I would not recommend Vincent. The individual does not seem to care, always on his phone, picks and chooses which customer he wants to attend to, not engaging when customers want to view the collection, while the other Holts employees at the other encounter from my experience is always proud of the brand they’re representing, super educated about the brand (especially the lady who works at MFK and Mark from Jo Malone), and even persuades you to try their line, even if you are just browsing. Vincent does not embody what a Holt Renfrew Associate should be. A picture below is the last time I visited in December (again, on his phone). I usually don’t write reviews but his customer service prompted me to leave a review.

The beauty consultant at chantecaille does not know how to match for foundation colour. I already knew which colours would work when I asked her what colour she would recommend. She recommended a colour which was way off by so many shades. Atleast she could have googled the website to figure out the shades for foundation names for to match for skin tone. for a luxury retail store they lack basic knowledge in matching you with the correct product.

My wife and I came in just before closing hours and Jade, the client associate working in the sunglasses area was incredible. She was knowledgeable, patient and her attention to the style my wife was looking for was spot on. Her suggestions definitely helped narrow down my wife's choices. Ultimately we needed to sleep on her final choice BUT Jade was not a pushy sales associate which we both enjoyed. Her soft closing technique was approachable and didn't make us feel awkward.
When we choose the right pair for her, I will only want to make this purchase with Jade. Thanks again.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting your store and interacted with Sarvenaz Kazemi(Sarvy), an advisor in your Toronto store, and I am thoroughly impressed with the experience she provided. From the moment I walked in, she knew exactly what I was looking for, yet offered me a wide range of options to consider, ensuring I had a full understanding of the products. She remembered me from months ago when I had visited the store.
Sarvy was incredibly respectful, patient, and never once made me feel pressured into making a decision. She even went above and beyond in providing excellent service to my friend, who was with me during the visit.
Her knowledge of fragrances is exceptional, and I was blown away by her professionalism and personalized attention. Moving forward, I’ll be defaulting to Sarvy for all my fragrance purchases. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping you find the perfect product Sarvy is the person.

I’ve been shopping here for quite some time. The recent renovation of the fitting rooms has left me feeling uncomfortable. The current location, facing the walkway, offers little privacy, and the curtains are not secure enough to prevent accidental openings. This makes it feel unsafe to change, as people passing by can easily catch a glimpse. Could you please consider relocating the fitting rooms to a more private area and providing more secure coverings for your customers’ peace of mind?

I went in today with the intention of browsing to make a purchase. However, I was discouraged by the staff of almost all the luxury boutiques. Walked in, not acknowledged and a terrible attitude it made me leave altogether. I much rather purchase online and avoid the unnecessary cold shoulder. Save your money.

The balance on my holt gift card vanished. Despite contacting Holt Renfrew to resolve the issue, they informed me that nothing could be done. My advice: steer clear of Holt Renfrew gift cards!
