I love this Danforth location and have been going here for years. Love their regular sales each month and always get various supplements and health products and foods.
I recently discovered their pasture raised eggs by Alderwood Farms and love the taste and rich orangey colour of the yolks. This deep colour is always an indication of the grass and bugs these happy chickens are eating outdoors! And I don't mind paying extra for these eggs that come from happy chickens because they are double the nutrients compared to standard eggs from grain-fed indoor caged chickens.
The staff here are also helpful and friendly. Big thanks to Eddy at the Danforth store!

Racial profiling of people of colour. Sad to say that although there products are great every time I am in the store I am followed around and watched by the security guard. Hard to feel welcomed in a place like that.

Unsatisfactory Phone Support Experience.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a phone conversation I had with one of your representatives today. During the call, I felt that the agent was not making any effort to listen to what I was saying, and instead, they kept repeating their own points. It seemed like they were not interested in understanding my concerns.
Although I am an immigrant, I expressed myself clearly in English. However, the agent kept insisting that they couldn’t understand me, without even trying to make an effort to understand. The experience made me feel as though your service is only geared towards Canadians, which was quite upsetting.
I hope that you take this feedback seriously and work towards improving your customer service approach, particularly in being more attentive to customers from diverse backgrounds.

Used to be a Nice Shop. Staff Woman Iranian, her approach is very unfriendly and rude! , If she cannot handle the Shop stop working. does not know how to answer question without giving attitude. Not nice customer service.

Don’t go here unless you want to be followed around the store and borderline harassed by the staff, the only good thing is the variety of items but you can buy the same products online for cheaper

I love this location! I gush about it to everyone, everywhere, even at other Healthy Planets. This location is the apex: stellar staff, great deals, and relevant product.
What I enjoy in particular is the specific, pertinent counsel and feedback given by one of your nutritionists, Ryan. He is always friendly, knowledgeable, and perceptive. He asks questions to find out what my concerns are, and based on the feedback, gives me unfailingly correct advice. I really enjoy seeing his genuine smile when I enter your store.
Much as I am definitely appreciative of his presence and skill I want to include that for years Negar, Sergio, Anwar, and Jiorji have been pleasantly helpful also.
Altman and Sobia are wonderful new community members also.
Although Natalie and Gleison are no longer onsite their humanity and warmth are missed.
Thank you for your presence on Danforth. Your store is not only a welcome necessity for those living a healthy lifestyle, but ALL your staff is a testament to the ethos of community in Riverdale and Greektown. Thank you for being here!

I was helped by Christine, who was phenomenal in recommending the best options while providing meaningful insights to substantiate her recommendations. Everything about this store is good except for an employee there who is disrespectful. Kristine, when asked for help, advised me to read the signs and learn. She did so infront of another customer and i felt humiliated. She probably judged me by my race, of dressing or my body type. Another white customer asked her for help and she was all flowers. Another femal associate here was Kind enough to walk me to where the products were. I wish i got her name. Protip : Avoid Kristine at all costs. She is ill mannered.
