The experience was terrible! There was no regard for clients whatsoever. With no receptionist in sight, I had to wait for 15 minutes until someone finally appeared, only to be informed that they don't offer in-person appointments, despite what was stated on their website.

They have made this years taxes the biggest pain. I’ve been to other HR Blocks and my taxes have been a breeze. This location has been terrible at communicating and it seems no one knows what’s going on at the front desk. I got a call saying my taxes where complete then got told the lady who did my taxes wasn’t in to finalize and was told I’d get a call by end of day to come back. I called later to follow up and was by a grumpy man over the phone to basically get lost. I’m gunna try and go back tomorrow but then I’ll never return to this location again.

They have zero regards for appointments - I had an appointment booked with them and when I showed up, there were 2 people in the whole office and my tax person had not shown up at all. They asked me to wait "in case the one available tax person might take me". They should have at least had the courtesy to call me and ask me to reschedule - won't recommend using their service.

The front desk agent in a very cutomer servicy fashion told us that they do not honor their appointments to us and also to the lady that was in line before us. What he said exactly was “ there is a disconnect in between online H&R block and this office”. Do not bother making an appointment and expect to deal with professionals. They might decide they are not in the mood to honor the appointment that day.

Been to this location 2 years ago and never received my refund in the mail, I had to call the CRA in order to get my money. Came here today to do my taxes 2022 and 2023 because it’s convenient for me and I get told that they do not do instant refunds with a health card even though I have done that in the past. Will never return here again.

They give you the same ans8every time called. Basically some tax expert will reply my e mail.No I say I want to speak with someone who knows status of return no no e mail only. Totally bad

I brought my taxes in Early March (2023 and now March is basically over) and still have not received my taxes back. I have contacted the H&R block several times and each time the person responds saying my Tax Expert is either unavailable, not accepting calls, or is with a client. The Tax Expert only responds to my emails after a week goes by and I have asked in every email for an update but no update has been given. So far this has been a very unprofessional experience. I am still waiting for them to complete my taxes and will be submitting an updated review when that happens if it ever happens and will be sure to include the tax experts name so you can avoid choosing them. Since 4 weeks have already gone by and there has been no response. If anyone is looking to file US/Canadian taxes I would advise to look elsewhere as this has been a horrible experience so far. The only person at this office who was nice was a woman named Linh. I wish she was the one doing my taxes because she was the only person who was kind to me and helped answer my questions.

Worst place to get your taxes done they are disrespectful, and doesn’t care about h&r block or the customers, over charged it’s ridiculous .. (parliament street).

As a student and first time to file with H&R block, I don't recommend the remote tax filing with expert. I am not happy at all, I have to wait more than a week to get the report just to know that I owed a balance and to pay >200cad for the service. I was told that the service charge depends on the complexity, but they should let us know about the comparative pricing so that the customers be aware on how much they will be paying in the first place.
