When I walked in, I could tell that the staff cared a lot about keeping the store as tidy and well-run as possible. Alex in the meat department was especially friendly and helped me find exactly what I needed! I'll definitely be grocery shopping here in the future

This store is well-managed. It is clean, tidy and organized simply. The prices are very competitive with sale priced items sprinkled throughout categories.
There is underground parking for those who drive and bicycle posts along Dundas Street just outside the entrance (take anything removable from your bike inside with you).
The staff is friendly and approachable - this is noteworthy considering what retail staff must put up with these days.
I have switched most of my grocery shopping to FreshCo from No Frills even though No Frills is steps from my door and FreshCo is a 15 minute walk.
It is easy for me to say that I heartily recommend this store at Dundas & Parliament (as well as the store on Sherbourne south of Bloor) for your food shopping.
It's not complicated: you're hungry, you need to buy food, you go there and get a good variety of items at reasonable prices, you go and eat, you're not hangry any longer, things work out to be A.O.K.

I visited this place this afternoon and it was a tidy and well-organized store.
One detail that impressed me was the dedication of Olu, the security guard, who was sweeping the entrance clear of dried leaves and litter. Seeing such commitment to maintaining the space was heartening, and I hope FreshCo managers recognize and appreciate his efforts.

I've only been here a couple of times but the area is quite sketchy. Inside it's okay, but I need to explore a little further. The prices weren't too bad and the food I did get was fresh !

Price matching here is like pulling teeth. The cashiers seem unable to do it despite adverts for price matching everywhere. They also run out of sale items always (morning, noon, night, seems to not matter).
The meat is not priced per kg (chicken breast and ground beef) so that they do not have to price match the stores that have sales by weight. Very deceptive. I only go to this store because they take Amex and are close to me.
