I moved to this area (Bathurst and Eglinton) last year in July and initially tried a couple of other nail salons in the area. Foret Nails is by far the most reasonably priced. The owner always accommodates my appointments later considering my work schedule. I always have new designs that I ask the girls to do for my nails and they always exceed my expectations and do such an amazing job! They always take their time and never rush it. Thank you all the ladies at Foret Nails (1182 Beauty) - you know I'll be back :)

A strange experience here. I went in for a manicure and pedicure after reading the great reviews. I was the last appointment of the day and it felt like they were trying to get my nails done as quickly as possible. Both nail techs were chatting to each other the entire time, which is completely fine but it felt like they weren't paying attention to the fact that I was there. They yanked my feet and hands around instead of just asking me to move them, and they were rough with the tools. Usually a nail tech will ask if the shape is okay, how the nails look, etc etc but there was no communication. They did my whole manicure while I was sitting in the pedicure chair so I never had a comfortable place to rest my hands. The end result is fine, but the process was bizarre.

Would not recommend. They’re always behind schedule. I booked an appointment weeks in advance. Upon arrival she clearly had no record of the appointment. Despite me calling earlier to confirm/ ask if it could be moved up. Totally fine that it couldn’t be moved up, that is understandable. But not okay that she had no record of the appointment despite the confirmation. I was told it would be a 30 minute wait for a then 90 minute mail appointment. This was after already waiting 15-20 min. There are many other salons in the area that properly track appointments and don’t disrespect their customers time.

Amazing service. I went in for a pedicure and full gel set. All workers were very nice and patient. Hannah took the time to get the details and shape I wanted. Will definitely be a returning customer when I am in the city.

Always love getting my nails done here. Sometimes it gets super busy and there's a bit of a wait but if you call ahead, they usually can accommodate. They always make my nails look superb every time no matter what look I wanna pull off!

Foret was a dismal experience. The price was expensive and the false nails poorly done.
I had false nails put on here for a special occasion and after only 2 weeks, 3 of them have already come off and more loosened. I wasn't impressed nor pleased when they were initially doing my nails, what with the unsightly globs of glue/acrylic left under the nails and shaping, but I certainly expected them to stay on longer. What's more only one person seemed to know what they were doing and they were lacking in hygiene care with no fresh towels used, no wipe down of nail lights and no clean table to work on.
Furthermore the price was high, the staff none too friendly, the tables tightly spaced together, hardly any visitor seating and parking is pay parking on the street (quite the hassle with all massive construction road repair going on).
