The shop's curation leaves much to be desired, with prices that feel unjustified given the poor condition of many items. They appear to accept any brand, resulting in a mix of worn-out pieces with damages such as tears, faulty hardware, and broken labels—all sold at premium "resell" prices. Overall, a rather disappointing experience.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Fashionably Yours, a consignment store in Toronto, that I feel compelled to share. Despite the promising storefront and the allure of a high-end consignment experience, my dealings with the owners revealed a much darker reality.
Firstly, the owner is incredibly deceitful. They present themselves as trustworthy and professional, but once you hand over your items, the facade quickly crumbles. I consigned several high-value pieces, only to find that getting any updates on the status of my items was like pulling teeth. Communication was abysmal, and I was often met with vague or dismissive responses.
The most infuriating aspect of my experience was trying to get paid. Despite their promises, receiving payment for sold items was a nightmare. I had to chase them relentlessly, and even then, the process was riddled with excuses and delays. It felt as if they were hoping I would just give up. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially when dealing with high-end consignment items.
Furthermore, the general negative consensus about Fashionably Yours is completely justified. I wish I had heeded the warnings in other reviews before engaging with them. Many others have shared similar stories of deceitful practices and difficulty in getting paid. This pattern of behavior suggests a systemic issue rather than isolated incidents.
I strongly advise anyone considering Fashionably Yours to think twice. The deceitful nature of the owner and the significant difficulties in receiving payment make this consignment store more trouble than it's worth. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a more honest and reliable consignment experience.
In summary, you guys need to step up in terms of communication, transparency, and accountability.

I can’t recommend this consignment store enough. I always find the best items at fantastic prices and have also sold many of my designer bags over the past 10 years. I was pleasantly surprised by their selection of designer kids’ clothing recently. The staff are professional, friendly, and always willing to go out of their way to help.
It’s hard to understand the bad reviews, especially on a small business that has clearly been doing something right to be around for 15 years. Some people are just miserable and should consider that it must take a lot of work and effort to manage the expectations of people selling their used designer clothing. I would highly recommend giving them a chance and you will find some real gems here!

I never learned my lesson shopping in this consignment store. First, last year on 9/3/2021 I bought an 18k Cartier Love Necklace with diamonds for $4,725 from them, with its price tag - I requested from the store owner to provide me at least an authenticity paper for peace of mind. All she said was, trust me it’s authentic! I said I cannot count on your word, with a store like yours I didn’t realize you couldn’t provide an authenticity paper or even a certificate of appraisal. She then promised me she’ll contact the original owner of the Cartier necklace I bought to get a copy of the receipt, etc. However, she kept on giving excuses that the original owner cannot be reached at that time. She otherwise suggested me to bring the necklace to Cartier boutique for cleaning and said, “if they accept, it’s authentic!” I replied, why would I go through the hassle, just contact a gemologist to appraise this Cartier necklace. She said okay, I’ll take pictures of your newly bought necklace and see what I can do for you. Within a day or two, you should hear from me. After waiting for a couple of days, I contacted Fashionably yours to get an update. The manager, Maria said her boss is having a hard time getting an authentication certificate as their third party authentication service is not familiar with Cartier jewelries, and is only expert on authenticating branded shoes and bags. Fashionably Yours owner contacted me and said that she will personally bring my Cartier necklace to Cartier boutique if I would entrust it to her. With her countless empty promises, I don’t want to take further risk so I just kept my necklace and hoped that it’s authentic.
Second, on 9/3/2022 I browsed to their website and found this cute Tiffany ring for sale in the amount of $275 plus tax. With no second thought, I bought it right away and got an email notice for pick-up the next day. I drove an hour away from my house to their store thinking the commute is worth it. When I got there, the store manager Maria said “Your order got cancelled, didn’t you get the message?” I said, no I did not get such message. Why would it get cancelled anyways? She said, well the posted price is wrong. It should have been priced more. Don’t worry, your money was refunded and the store owner said to give you a $50 credit. I asked, how much is it now? She said, well it will have to get appraised first. Suddenly, I remembered my pending appraisal for my Cartier necklace I bought a year ago and asked about it again. The store manager said, I’m sorry to keep you waiting for that long. My boss will get in touch with you. I asked Maria if she could call her boss but then she said she can’t reach her but will definitely call me back on that same day. I asked what time the store will close so I can keep an eye on my phone, she said they will call me before their store closes at 7pm. I waited a year for a decent reply, what more I wait for a couple of hours. I waited the whole day but the store owner or the store manager did not bother to call me back. I trusted them that they will keep their promises to #1 - CALL me back for reassurance about the authentic ito if their products but they DIDN’T, #2 - to GIVE me the appraisal certificate they promised a year ago but they DIDN’T, #3 - to give me my $50 CREDIT for cancelling my online order due to the pricing mistake they posted online in the Tiffany ring I already paid for but they DIDN’T. What a liar. The owner cannot even give her name to me, no accountability at all. Buyer BEWARE!!!

This review is regarding their consignment services.
The store is okay and they do sell your
items and they do pay you. However there's a few sketchy things you should be aware of regarding their business. I gave Them a chanel suit jacket to sell and was given a Log-in For their website for co signers to log-in and check on their items, payouts ect.
I was also told at the time that I would be paid after it sells
.I wasn't told at the time that i would have to wait Until the 2nd week of the following month after it sells in order to get paid. Wasn't a huge issue but still felt they should have told me that up front as I had never used their service before and they knew tha. Also, the log in account on their website doesn't do anything.I was unable to view my items and I was never notified once it sold. They didn't even call me 2.Let me know it was sold or anything.I had to call them and ask them At which point they had told me it was sold The prior week.
This was around the april 20th. I was told to come in between may 15th to 24th to pick up a cheque. The account still had no updates regarding any of this.
I don't know what would happen if I came after may 24th they didn't specify. I came in on May 15th, to pick it up The cheque.
It was for $500.I asked them how much the jacket had sold for she said - happily - "$1000" To which I replied. "Oh, what's the split percentage? Because I thought it was around 75%"
To which she said "oh, it was listed as 1000 but we Actually sold it for 800". I asked "How come I wasn't able to see any of this information on the account" To which she said "oh, the sale was done through Instagram." Somebody messaged her on instagram About the jacket and she sold it through there, In other words, there's no proof of sale. I just had to take her word that she had sold it for 800 and I was getting my fair share, which I thought was a bit sketchy. I also noticed that there Is no waiver or contract of any kind? No receipt or anything to show or prove that you gave them anything to sell, should the item go missing or should you have any problems during the sale. They also never Told me any clear information in terms of the percentage of what i would be getting from a sale or the criteria. They base their percentages off and what not. And personally I never saw the chanel jacket listed on their website despite Checking numerous times in the days after I dropped it off.
Was never able to personally see it listed on the website myself at all
If you're looking to just sell something, & not too worried about getting the full potential price for your item then they're reliable and they will pay you. But I would recommend asking for thorough and clear details of the sale from the beginning , Check their website for your listing regularly, maybe ask for some kind of proof of sale to see how much they really sold ur item for.
They didn't notify me when the item sold so I would say make sure you check in on them regularly so you don't miss the time window of picking up your cheque due to lack of communication.
Also keep in mind you have to wait until the following month to get your money. Other than That it was at least pretty simple service.

Incredible customer service! There is a wide selection for everyone to find something that suits their needs best, the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly when I call in. They kept good communication and updates with my order, I will definitely be visiting the storefront in Toronto soon to look at some of their clothes. Love my new tote!

I’ve been trying to get paid on items sold since November of last year. Received one reply that that they had mailed a cheque, which was never received. They stated they would have their accounting team look into if it had been cashed or not and would issue a new cheque. It’s now been months of numerous emails trying to get an update and no response. Terrible service. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic consignment store. Have gotten amazing finds here at great prices and my wife has a good experience consigning here as well. The staff are always super helpful and accommodating too! Highly recommend.
The selection of womenswear and shoes is generally good, but they also have a larger selection of men’s items compared to a lot of consignment shops I’ve visited. I’ve gotten good pieces from Zegna, Balmain, Gucci, Prada and also good deals on less expensive brands like APC, Club Monaco, Theory, etc.

Sold me a fake item, staff were nice about returning it. They should get better authentication as this item was an easy fake to spot. Solid prices tho, no hate I like this place a lot just a bad first time.

Good selling experience. They priced my item as I expected- which was both a good price and relatively well positioned in the market. It sold within 4-6 weeks in store.
The only things I would change would be if I received an email notification when my item sold- since you basically just have to check your online account to see if there’s any change in the status. Receiving payment for my item was also not as straight forward as I would have hoped. You need to pick up a cheque between the 15th and 28th of the month. You can also request it to be mailed to you. Since I wasn’t exactly nearby all the time, I had to plan around a time to pick it up.
All in all it was a good selling experience and I felt like they were a trustworthy consignment store with high quality items. I would consider selling with them again.

Costumer Service is usually great but also can be terrible depending on the person. Few times I've been there, I had lovely girls help me shop but another few times, I've been dismissed or uncomfortably stared at here and there till I left. Just want to let you know it makes a world of a difference, I've only purchased something when I felt easy inside.
