I’m new to the whole Eddie Bauer scene, but the sales at this store are pretty pretty good.I’m trying to get into hiking and I found a super lightweight backpack, and some pretty decent shorts and capris with pockets that can actually fit my phone, that didn’t cost $130…well I mean they did cost roughly that much but not during their 50% off sale.Got a rain coat ? too, because for some reason every time I attempt to go on a hike it starts raining ☔️, so now, no excuses!Impressed with the return from policy and I appreciate it, because I’m quite indecisive when it comes to purchasing clothing.

Not impressed with who I’m assuming is the manager, more concerned in talking about hockey than actually helping costumers, has a huge attitude about returns, I like the brand but he management and “lifetime guarantee” are very shaky may be choosing another store to do business with

I had the strangest experience here. I’ve shopped at Eddie Bauer before but i’ve never left feeling so put off.I asked the sales associate who was manning the dressing room if she could let me in to try on a few coats and she said no? She said to use the mirrors in the store and that they were bigger, I thought okay fair enough but then I had no where to hang my things (i.e my purse, the coat I was wearing and the things in my hand) Not to mention I wasn’t entirely dressed in a way to take my coat off for everyone in the store to what im wearing under my coat… but moving on.I get to the till and it’s the same girl. She then proceeds to confirm that the price tag SKU is the same as the one on the clothing tag that is inside jacket as though I had swapped the price tag with something cheaper. So now I’m wondering if thats why she didn’t want me to use a dressing room and had me try the coats on in the centre of the store? Moving on.Lastly, she confirms both tags match (surprise surprise)and then scans the price tag and when she sees the price she still like uhmm nooo that can’t be right and pulls out a calculator to do the math on the sale discount… idk I was left speechless. I let her do her thing, but honestly I don’t know that I’ve ever left a store feeling as confused and uncomfortable. It was really to the point where I’d rather go without and settle for another brand/company for future purchases.

This morning, I returned several lined pants and some mitts I had purchased online for family who didn’t want those exact items (quality seemed fine, just personal preference). It was a hassle-free return, by a friendly, efficient sales associate (I didn’t get his name), definitely a positive experience at this store!

Such a nice place to shop at, great and well organized inventory, helpful staff, convenience location, and I really appreciate the sale associates let you shop in peace all the while being readily available when needed.

They do not honour their guarantee/warranty on their products. I attempted to return a jacket, and one manager accepted the return only for another manager to deny the coverage. The products are of decent quality, but it’s unfortunate that the customer service doesn’t match.

I was there with my family Saturday Jan 6, when the store just opened. We bough 3 pairs of shoes. My comment is about everyone who works there. Everyone was smiling, very polite and professional, the service was top notch. The atmosphere in this store was amazing!
