They won’t return or exchange anything. I only used the bag twice, and when I bought it, they said they’d exchange it as long as it was in good condition for up to a year. Now, just after one month, they say it’s used because I used it! By that, they meant I could only try it at home!

Update-instead of replying back with scripted responses, why don't you do something about your hiring practices. Most of your staff are clearly unqualified and do not have experience in retail. I should not have to provide more detail to your team, READ ALL THE REVIEWS!!!! You are not dealing with the issues. Go an buy this book- 'The Effortless Experience: Conquering the New Battleground for Customer Loyalty'.
I was going to buy a bike from this company. But it seems every single location has issues with their staff and how they treat customers. It sounds like they are not hiring people who have any training or customer service experience. If you cannot even say hello to someone who enters your store and make eye contact. You should not be working in retail.

I was there today, the customer service very poor, I looked at the Google reviews some are give 5 stars, they don't deserve even I give 1 star. The team members did not greet upon entering the store the female Indian girl, I was there browsing I found a product I wanted without the staff offering any assistance to size or offering to help in general, I need to pay she didn't want to cash me out but instead helped her own people which is unprofessional and racist as I'm not her own people, after she told me to use self checkout she refused to cash me out which is racist. She refused to give me a bag and pretend to ask her colleague "How do you know where the bags are." They all ignored me including her Spanish colleague who was chitty chatting with another person who didn't want to help. She finally when to grab the bag and wasted twenty minutes of my time waiting. Will not be returning unless improved.

I bought a couple products from here and the quality is really high for how low the cost is you would be crazy to not shop here shout out to Vicki for helping me with my purchases real lovely woman I hope she gets a promotion or a raise

ABSOLUTE GEMS!!! - Fantastic, extraordinary and above & beyond customer service from Anceta, Plern & Pal.
Can’t say enough good things about these guys… They’re knowledgeable, kind, patience and honest💯 - complete legends and a rare find in the industry these days.
Long story short: we spent a lot of time in the store, tried multiple hiking stuff and they we’re answering all our questions with excellent recommendations. They made sure we got the sizes we needed - even though that meant to disassemble outfits from the mannequins and put them back together💪🏽
But the cherry on top was when I received an email letting me know that I’ve left my credit card behind, that they have secured it, and they were WAITING for us (their shift had ended already)🤯💟
Decathlon leadership team - you’re blessed to have this team. I hope you can identify, retain and grow this kind of talent. The work ethic, dedication, passion and kindness of these guys is something you should find a way to replicate in all your stores.

I am a very happy customer because of my excellent shopping experience at Decathlon Union Station location. It was my first time there and one of the staff Ali not only showed me the selection in store, but also the online selection. Then he also helped me place the online order so that it gets delivered to my home address. Ali was extremely polite, cheerful and provided the best customer service one can hope for! It saved a lot of my time. Thanks a lot Ali! I will definitely be back for more products!

Gotta say, you exceed my expectation by miles.
Came in to the store to check if you had some running belts, and prior to which the review you had here, had me in doubts...but boy they don't do you justice.
The lady was already helping other with sign language and she still came to me to ask and help me, even though a few minutes into the store. That's a given in rush hour but to help almost 90% with the smile and patience and that energy...Respect. Wish you had more collection. You have very good base and practical range of products for a good price.

RACIST EMPLOYEES.
I was on my way to a different store to buy a wool sweater, since i was passing by Decathlon i stopped to check out their base layers.
When i was walking in the door greeter gave me a dirty look and didn’t greet me.
She did greet the white people before and after me.
But that’s not the end of the racism.
I walked in knowing exactly what i was looking for, a merino wool base layer.
I got to the section and was looking around, no employee approached to help for about 5 minutes until a white man came to the same section.
An employee immediately approached him and asked “can i help you find anything?” And he said he was just browsing.
She turns to me and says “you?” And i asked for the base layer i was looking for.
You guys didnt have it so i left.
BUT THAT’S NOT THE END!
As i was leaving the sales employee gave the door greeter an “oh crap” look because they thought i was gonna just browse and dip.
Nope, they lost me as a customer permanently.
I’m a huge outdoors nerd and people come to me for recommendations. I can never recommend decathlon even as a dirt cheap option.
Go spend your money elsewhere, LL Bean has better quality for the same price and you won’t have to deal with racist employees!
I always avoided decathlon due to their poor quality and them taking advantage of cheap labor in China, but now i can fully say with confidence that the cheap bad experience of shopping at Decathlon doesn’t stop at the products, it extends all the way down to the employees.
