Walked in expecting more of an art store, but was pleasantly surprised by a graffiti shop (there was also some collectibles, but I was on the lookout for paint markers anyway so I didn't go to far into that).
I was offered help but when I asked to just browse first the staff politely left me be (my FAVORITE way to shop). After a bit I had some questions I was swiftly helped and got straight-forward, no-bullshit answers. Love that customer service ?
The staff were very friendly and clearly got along well, even as they were packing up for Fan Expo (which was surely stressful for them).
Picked up just a simple pen and some holographic stickers to personalize and I've been loving both of em.
Will have to come back when I blow through the sticker pack!

I’m in Calgary and I found the Toronto Collective via Google. I bought 8 spray can caps, not a huge order and the shipping cost was very reasonable. After a few weeks they hadn’t shown up and the people at Toronto Collective were amazing and they shipped my order again and they tracked it and Canada Post didn’t screw it up this time and I got them in 3 days!! Thank you Toronto Collective for helping me when you really didn’t have to, in fact they went above and beyond in helping me. Amazing Store and Amazing people.

This shop is NOT wheelchair accessible even though their Google listing says it is. This store was on my bucket list of places to visit while in Toronto & I was looking forward to checking this place out in person as it looked like a cool place with art & art supplies. There's a huge step to get in. It's too bad they haven't invested in a temporary ramp like some other stores have in the area. I imagine it's not that expensive to get. People with disabilities have $$ to spend and deserve to be able to look at products in person.
My friend was able to go in and I was forced to wait outside as I needed to in many of the retail & food establishments in the non-touristy areas of Toronto.
How will this store and all the rest of the stores in the area adhere to the Ontario Accommodation mandate 2024 (now 2025)?
Overall, I think Toronto is one of the least handicap accessible cities I've ever visited. I think it's probably worse than Brooklyn, NY which is infamously non-accessible.
Update: I read your comment and adjusted my rating. I was there on 7/3/24 (possibly 7/4/24). I was outside of your shop for at least 20 minutes and it was pretty obvious I wanted to go in as I said so and the 2 employees inside didn't notice me at all. I shouldn't have to ask you to put a ramp out. If you're truly accessible, it's just out there everyday.
Good customer service is the responsibility of the shop owner and it's staff. The burden should not be placed on the customer. I believe the cost to the owner would be minimal especially if you already have a ramp. I'm guessing it would take your staff 2-5 minutes at the opening to put out a ramp everyday. Other stores in the area had one out & I went in and spent $ there.
I'm more than happy to change my rating when you're able to have your ramp out daily.

Stoked to see this spot still at it and growing. Locals art and artists, lots of eclectic collectibles and supplies.

Don’t give this owner your money, he is rude. So many better spray stores (close by) that treat you with respect. I’ve spent a lot of money here and my friends, always told off by the owner. He always finds a way to tell me and my friends off. Trash. Especially when I spend so much money on paint ? nobody is stealing your $7 paint homie

Hi and thanks for reading my review❗️
This place is awesome, and has everything you need for your DIY projects or if your collection needs new additions??
It is also a museum of the stickering elite in Toronto?
Stop in and pick up some empty slaps, paint, markers, or whatever gets your fix?
Highly recommended??

Best store in the world for paint selection. If you can’t find it here you don’t need it. Plus they have a crazy amount of collectables and designer toys I haven’t seen anywhere else. If you want a mural they can set u up or some original art from worldwide artists this is also your go-to spot.

Meant to write this back in February — but I had an issue with my order because of Canada Post. When I reached out to Toronto Collective they were SO helpful and resolved the issue with CP immediately. The package was delivered the next day and everything was carefully wrapped. And the products were exactly what I needed and the only place I could find them for a fair price around my area. Will definitely be shopping here again!
