Arrived a few minutes before midnight to grab a drink when the employee said they were closed when the store said 24hrs. Only to see him lock the door and go on to hug and smooch with his girlfriend who was waiting in front of the register. Pathetic excuse for a worker

It’s a typical variety/ bodega store in a busy downtown location and everything that goes with it. I would rate it higher but it all has a sketchy sort of vibe that goes with the sketchy downtown hood that it is in. Still handy to have.

Tip: The key to get in late at night is to give them a hard time, which I understand most people won't do.This place is only 24/7 if you make a fuss about it. I had to force the guy to open the door for me because I was just in a mood and refused to leave. Sometimes ya just need to get your late night milk you know?Management need to talk to staff about this. I understand turning away homeless people who are trying to steal, but I don't get turning away locals that live close by just because it's late. I really don't like making people uncomfortable just so I can get a carton of milk. It's ridiculous.

Always love stopping here before my workout class for a snack! The employees are always very pleasant and nice. They have a good stock of protein bars & healthy drinks. Good prices too.
