I went in the other day to check out sofas...guess I wasn't worth talking or engaging with, nor my friend. The staff all avoided us like the plague, not even a hello as we walked around. We ended up at Urban mode, with much friendlier staff. Very obvious the staff, which was plentiful pick and choose who they engage with. You never know who you can make a sale with.

I've never had such horrendous experience dealing with a furniture shop, not to mention an upscale one.I have purchased a dining table from CB2 in Feb of 2022.Table did not begin delivery until July of 2022, which was understandable as shortage problems were everywhere.1st delivery, table top had corners chipped, and a large crack thru the middle, denied delivery, contacted the head office, scheduled for 2nd delivery.2nd delivery, same story, nothing changed, giant crack across the table top, denied delivery again, contacted the head office, they offered a compensation credit of $258.77 for the delivery fee. I've also ASKED for them to double check the condition of the table top prior to delivery. Scheduled for 3rd delivery.3rd delivery, same story again DESPITE asking the shop to double check on the condition. 2 Giant cracks along the table top this time, no checks were performed at all. denied delivery, contacted the shop once again. They offered an extra $291.30 in compensation. Scheduled for 4th delivery.4th delivery, finally LOOKS okay. Taken in the delivery and started using the table.By this time the table is already no longer for sale on the website or on the floor. They know well the flaws with this product.8 Months later, 2 Giant cracks appear at the bottom of the table, perfectly positioned at 1/3 and 2/3 down the table at the risk of breaking apart and falling which could injure any household members, pets, or damage my flooring. Contacted CB2 with this issue with evidences and pictures. They have only refunded the amount MINUS all the compensations (which is essentially saying now that you no longer keep the table, we are not liable for all the inconvenience you experienced). Pedro has been kind and polite throughout the entire ordeal but at the end of the day there are still no fair solutions.This experience has been extremely terrible and I would recommend everyone to stay away for their lack of product safety and poor customer service.TLDR: table took 4 deliveries to be in acceptable condition, just for it to eventually crack again. Poor handling of the situation considering the inconvenience we've had to go through with many delivery days and having to call into the shop over 10s of times.

I was shopping for bed frames and got really attentive service from the older gentleman on the floor. He showed me the options on the floor, answered questions, and gave me a printed quote for easy ordering. There was a mix of traditional and unique furniture styles, and because the showroom isn't as big, there was limited selection. Prices are a little higher compared to other places.

Worst customer service experience ever after I complete my order. Pretty nice when they are selling you stuff. Never followed up and charging for extra delivery fees that were never refunded.UPDATE:They contacted me after and if there is any problems go ask FOR THE MANAGER!!! Super nice and understanding and actually understands my concerns. Previous associates who have approached me are super confusing and impolite.

I was initially excited about my experience, shopping at the CB2 - QueenWest location in Toronto, Canada. While I was incredibly excited about myfirst in-store shopping experience at a CB2 store. Unfortunately, this was aslightly tumultuous experience.I am currently re-designing my home and was incredibly excited about CB2.Furthermore, I traveled all the way to Toronto to shop. Additionally, I am acurrent Yelp Elite who looks forward to providing favorable reviews. I alsomake influencer content and would've liked to document my experience.When I was originally greeted at the store it was a very pleasant experience. Ihad a lovely discussion with the greeter who was very supportive. Then Idecided to move upstairs to check out the sales section only to be watchedand followed. The employee harassed me and made it an uncomfortablework environment for both my friend and me. I was very observant and didnot notice him watching anyone else to the same degree which leads me tobelieve this was racially motivated.When I spoke with my friend after leaving the store, she assured me that Iwas not exaggerating and that he was in fact making it an uncomfortableenvironment. What further cemented these feelings was when I would laterneed to be checked out by him at the cash register. Again, this interaction was very unpleasant. He made the most minimal conversation as possible. When in fact I was interested in possibly ordering items online for delivery.Aside from this situation I would say that CB2 is worth the hype. I enjoyed being able to shop at a store where I could really get the feel of the items and their quality. However, the terrible customer service is not an excuse for me to consider returning!

I purchased nightstands from CB2 and it took 1.5 years to receive them. Once they were finally delivered, one came broken (the marble table top was cracked into 2 pieces). After waiting another month, we received the replacement nightstand and and the marble tabletop is a completely different color than the first one that was received. Now CB2 is going to send us a replacement for the second nightstand. While CB2 Customer service has been pleasant over the phone and provided some minor compensation, this entire situation is absolutely unacceptable and we will never be purchasing anything from there again.

A 3 star review turned 5! After waiting months for met order, my bed came in for delivery earlier than expected, making me very happy but the delivery service the first time was horrible, no communication from the delivery partner about coming later than the time window, and then refusing to assemble the bed. Thankfully the customer service at CB2 is great and they were extremely helpful, gave us a partial refund for the trouble on the white glove service and also sent great people like Yhanic and Devonte to assemble our bed a few days later. Both of them very extremely sweet, quick and efficient.

Customer service shoutout to Jeremy C and Marcel M.Thank you for being empathic, and quick with your responses. They were both professional and kind in they way they responded to my queries. I love my brand new black parcel bed set!I will continue to shop at CB2. Shortly after I spoke with them I bought a set of bath towels and will purchase more frequently and more often.Thank you guys and I hope you get a shout out from the team for your great work in customer service. I know it can't be easy but your help was greatly appreciated!

Purchased a filing cabinet online and it arrived at the store early which was great. Got it home and discovered a big dent in the corner. Called immediately and was told to email the store. After 24H I still haven’t gotten any response to the email. When I called the store I was told the person in charge was on a break and would get to it. I really don’t appreciate the runaround, lack of service and poor quality here.

Disappointing experience. I live nearby and went in yesterday Saturday the 12th around 4 for the first time to take a look around as I’m renovating. The blonde lady at the front said hi and asked if she could help the guests that walked in before and after me. She looked at me and didn’t say a thing. Mind you I am a person of colour. Before making assumptions I got closer to her hoping she just missed me by accident. Again she ignored me completely and made conversation with another person who walked in (not a person of colour) I walked right out because these type of situations get me really emotional. Wouldn’t think this is still happening at a place like this, I willNever go in again.

Go in to pick up my order I placed. It arrived quickly. But they only end up giving me 1 of the 2 pieces. I double check with them but they assured me that's it. After I arrive home, I open the box and its only half of the order. Now I have to go back and make 2 trips, wasting my whole afternoon. I work in customer service and I very dislike the customer service I got today.
