“It is a little bit difficult to find a chicken liver in Toronto. However, Macellaria Atlas has it. Moreover, the price is cheaper than in grocery stores, as No frils, Metro, etc.Friendly service here as well.”

“I have been going to the Meat Dept. for many years now ever since I first went to their Danforth location. Yes there are a few butchers close to where I live, but I always go back to the MD. From the rock and roll always playing, to the friendly staff, it has never let us down. Also, the meat is top quality and seems on par with what it should cost for what you get. The kids have grown up with me going to MD and always know to look for the circle sign with the cleaver on it when on Roncy. We did our annual steak dinner for NYD and the steak was excellent as always. Thanks MD.”

“I've been many times, bought maybe 50lb of beef and 50lb of chicken total - quality has been very good, more consistent than grocery stores.They will vacuum seal meat for free on request, which is great for a sous vide brisket, ribs, or steak.”
“A stalwart of Bloor West Village has always been my go to place for fresh meats. Proper old-fashioned style butcher shop with friendly staff and high quality produce that is often cheaper than supermarkets. Bob was particularly helpful and carried my purchase to the door as I had my dog with me. 10/10 service.”
