Yes, their container program is convenient, but I am fed up with Bulk Barn staff defacing my property. I have addressed this repeatedly with staff and management at the Bloor W. location with no change in what they do. I have attached a photo of what they're doing.
Today's action, shown in the photo, is the last straw. The staff person tried to erase the mark made by a previous staffer and was unable to do so. Rather than write on the side of the container, he actually scratched out the previously made mark and wrote a new one under it.
This is why I have reduced their rating to 2 stars. The product is good, but the customer service is abysmal.
Their container program is excellent. It is so much easier to put things away when you get home.
The variety of things you can buy here seems endless.I go a couple times each month. It's a good location.

I overthink when I go in and leave with nothing half the time. Wondering how many dirty hands have been inside each container. That said, there's a few things there I really enjoy.

I have seen few stores with such a variety of products.
All types of flour
Food supplements
Nuts
Nuts almonds cashews pistachios
Sunflower Chia Sesame Seeds
Gummies and candies
Glass containers for storing food
Plastic and paper cutlery
Everything is in bulk
It is a great advantage because you only select the quantity you need
I bought some very good quality Goyi berries and some chia seeds
You choose everything yourself, self-service in plastic bags and weights at the checkout
Basically there is everything you are looking for
There is also bulk cinnamon and other bulk spices
Even spices in packaging
It is the store I would choose if I had to buy any flour, nuts or spices
The attention was very nice

A standard well maintained Bulk Barn. Great selection of candy, animal food/treats, "health" powders (like dried super green vegetables or whey protein).

I already loved this Bulk Barn but today I was in with my child and she suddenly fell ill and almost fainted. Before I even realized what was happening, I was grabbing her before she could fall and an employee asked me if I needed water and ran to get it before my mind had even processed what was happening he was handing me a bottle of water. He directed me towards the washroom super fast and all of the staff were so kind and understanding about the fact that I left the store immediately- leaving behind a cart full of items because I didn't know if my child could last long enough to check out I just wanted to get her home. I felt so bad but they made me feel like they understood. They were amazing!

All the cashiers I've dealt with here are polite and helpful. Selection of supplements, bulk nut butters (with pressing machine if preferred) and an entire aisle for baking utensils and decorations. And of course, a huge mélange of bulk foods and sweets.
