“Kennedy at Ferre Sposa was such an incredible stylist, such a girls girl, and super helpful in helping me figure out what I liked and disliked. She was also super transparent and made sure I had no surprises when it comes to things like prices, potential alterations and modifications to dresses!
The prices here are also super reasonable - for the same dress that I was considering from another store at $3400, FS was offering it for $2900.
I ended up picking another dress here on my first visit!
I’m not too sure about alterations but so far a great experience!”

“My consultant, Gillian, was so great while I tried on wedding dresses. She was warm and welcoming and so encouraging. She made my mom and sisters and I feel comfortable and she made us laugh. We really enjoyed the experience at Blu Ivory and their dress selections were lovely.”

I love that they take ethical sourcing and sustainability very seriously because it’s allowed me to not only trust that my ring is going to last the ages, but also that it’s sourced from places we don’t need to feel guilty about. “The absolute best bridal store experience! In my opinion there is nowhere else to get your wedding dress. They are extremely knowledgeable and help guide you while still allowing you to select dresses you like. I came for multiple appointments and they were so courteous - allowing me to be flexible around a family member's schedule. When there was a little error by the dress designer Andrea made sure that the dress was fixed in a timely manner and I didn't stress at all. I went to both White Toronto and White Montreal and everyone I met with was so kind and helpful. Truly could not recommend more.”

“I was extremely nervous at the start of this appointment. Everyone always told me that you just know when you put on the dress that it is your wedding dress. So, coming into this appointment (after trying a few other places), I was scared that I was being too picky or not going to have that feeling.Liyat made all of those fears go away. “Erin and her team are absolutely amazing! Erin devoted so much time with me before I even was officially a client, she treated me with so much kindness and sat with me for 2 hours sketching the dress I had in my head and bringing it to life. As a bride, the idea or wedding dress shopping or creating a dress from scratch sounded stressful to me, but working with Valencienne was the only part of my wedding experience that was zero stress and full on enjoyment. All of the amazing employees are so patient and understanding, I felt so relaxed leading up to my wedding day and felt actually heard as a bride. The dress Valencienne made was perfect, but the people make the experience. These people are true gems.”

“I recently went to Papilio Boutique to shop for my wedding dress. Having never tried on a wedding dress before, I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect.

The ladies helped me through the process and made me feel so comfortable. They never pushed me towards any designs or price point. My dress ended up being the second dress I tried on and they helped solidify my choice by adding in the perfect veil that complimented the dress so well.

I actually had second appointment scheduled at another wedding boutique and cancelled it right away because I knew I found my dress. I couldn’t recommend Papilio Boutique enough, especially for those brides who are looking for a wide range of dresses but a more intimate feel during the process.”

Note: For alternations, make sure you are able to step backwards without tripping with the dress bustle done up. I didn't do that and noticed it was bit difficult to do my choregraphed first dance due to stepping on the inside of the wedding train. So make sure your bustle is high up enough so that you are not tripping on the back of your dress while dancing.”

“I was shopping for a dress for my daughter’s wedding. It was a black-and-white theme and all guest, including the bridal party had to wear black. So I had some limitations. I visited a few bridal stores in the city and narrowed my choices down to a few dresses, but decided to try one more store, Diva Bridal Boutique. Jasmine was extremely helpful and very friendly and helped me select the perfect dress. I was incredibly happy with my selection and only had to do minor alterations, which was done by a friend. While my daughter definitely stole the show at the wedding, I was undoubtedly the runner up. In this case, as the mother of the bride, I don’t mind my daughter outdoing me, but I got rave reviews from a lot of people, and I liked what I saw in the mirror. I am ever so grateful to Jasmine for her kindness and attention to detail. My daughter and I took to her pleasant personality right away and she has been professional throughout our interactions. “An incredible store — stuffed to the brim with unique and beautiful clothes, purses, accessories of all price points (except fast fashion). Labels range from Jeffrey Campbell and Desigual on the more affordable end all the way to Moschino, Valentino and other runway couture. It also has the largest collection of Vivienne Westwood purses I’ve seen — more than even the label’s flagship store in London. Donna the fabulously dressed owner kindly showed me the upstairs room, pulling out all kinds of exquisite dresses like a fashion faerie. She showed me quirky and outrageously fun shoes too. I’d just come back from a trip to New York and wasn’t prepared to make a big purchase. I stumbled upon the store while on my way to meet with a friend so just happened to browse through the selection. I told Donna this and still she lavished me with attention, stories about the various acquisitions through the years and suggestions based on my taste ( all with zero pressure to buy and no judgement). Despite the overwhelming amount of merchandise, every item is handpicked and curated based on their design. I honestly could’ve spent a whole day in the store. I don’t live in Toronto but I’m going to make this a must-visit destination every time I come! Thank you Donna for making my day! The world needs more colour, art and whimsy.”
