I recently visited this Best Buy location with the intention of just browsing, but I ended up walking out with a full setup (TV, laptop, and accessories) thanks to the exceptional service provided by Kasra.
Shopping for big-ticket electronics can be overwhelming, but Kasra was incredibly patient and took the time to answer all my questions without ever making me feel pressured. His deep product knowledge was evident; he helped me compare different models and ensured I was getting exactly what I needed for my specific needs.
What impressed me most was his transparency regarding pricing. He guided me through the current promotions, which ended up saving me approximately $700. I checked the prices the very next day, and they had already returned to normal, so his advice was spot-on. It’s rare to find an associate who is so genuinely invested in the customer’s best interest. If you’re looking for someone who truly knows what they’re doing and provides top-tier service, ask for Kasra!

Joysan and Jerome were amazing during my Boxing Day visit. I came in to buy my first 4K OLED TV along with a few accessories, and they made the whole experience easy and stress-free. They were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely took the time to help me choose the right options for my home theatre setup. I never felt rushed or pressured, just well taken care of. Big thanks to both of them for the excellent service — I’d definitely recommend asking for Joysan and Jerome if you’re shopping here.

I visited Best Buy in Downsview to buy myself an Apple Watch and had a phenomenal experience because of Kasra. Kasra took the time to ensure he understood my needs and was able to compare all the features side by side to make it easy for me to make a selection.
It's been a while since I met a salesperson like Kasra. Not only is he very informed, but he's also very patient. He's one of those salespeople who will sell you the option that you really need instead of the most expensive one. If you're going to this store, make sure to ask for Kasra, he's the pro!

No customer service, the staff talk to each other. Again you have to beg for help which crazy. I bought a monitor there the cx service was horrible. I also got my computer looked after again the service was horrible. I did a return stood there for 5 mins no looked after even though was there- they could have said hi let me call someone I work in mobile. A lady came and asked if i needed help- to myself I wouldnt be standing here waiting. This location needs train their staff in cx service cause cx service equals money. Funny I used to work at Best Buy over 10 years ago- things were different. Cx has gone down so much.

I had a very confusing and frustrating experience with Best Buy pickup policy.
I placed an online order and went to pick it up in store. At pickup, I was asked for a physical ID, which I unfortunately realized I had forgotten at home. I clearly showed my order confirmation email on my phone, but the item was still not released to me.
What I find extremely inconsistent is this:
If you do not believe I am the owner of the order, how were you able to cancel my order on the spot? On what basis was that decision made?
Even more confusing, I have previously picked up online orders for other people at this same location without any issues. This makes it feel like the rules change depending on the situation or the employee.
“Manager Solmaz” assisted me, but instead of offering a reasonable solution, the process felt rigid and inconsistent. The policy application was unclear and unfair.
Policies should be clear, consistent, and applied equally to everyone. This experience felt contradictory and disappointing.

Initially, one of the advisor gave me wrong information. May be, he did not have detailed information on offers for switching phone plan so i listened to whatever information was provided. Later i got to know from other best buy location that i was not offered incentive while i was switching plan.
Then i consulted with Manager Jean Luc, he understood my query and the whole situation and offered me what i was supposed to get. FYI; offer was for boxing week and New Year
Thank you Jean, you were empathetic and customer oriented.

Absolutely Unacceptable
Best Buy delivered a damaged fridge with multiple scratches. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with customer service and was assured an exchange was ordered.
After 15 days of silence, I called back only to be told the issue was marked “resolved after 3 days” — which is a lie. No one contacted me.
Then I wasted another 1 hour and 30 minutes on hold just to have the exchange “re-submitted.” This is incompetence, not customer service.
Broken promises, false system notes, endless hold times, and zero accountability. If this is how Best Buy handles big-ticket items, do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere.

take laptop in for consecutive beeping on and off. Would have been a good week without as they were sending to Brampton for repair, Went back and got it before they shipped it. They never returned the charger that I had with me. I had it in my bag and when he took it to check it he said he didn't need the charger but then came out and said it wasn't starting so I plugged in the charger I had with me and he took it to the back. Now he tells me they didn't take the charger. Now I have sticky keys. They gave me another charger. Not having much luck with Geek squad protection plan. Kind of a lot of monthly payments for nothing.

Long story short I had a whole run around with a few different employees here, basically telling me different things I had to go home and back to Best Buy 3 times for an online order discrepancy and finally Abel and his supervisor (sorry I forgot her name it was along the lines of “preet”) at the mobile pick up department. They were able to give me a replacement console with ease. I was really upset in the beginning but left a happy customer at the end of the day thanks to them :) 10/10 customer service
