Very strange experience. Left a bad taste in my mouth and it was my first time shopping for a wedding dress.First of all- confusing. I wasn’t really sure what I wanted but I did want a dress that I had the flexibility to wear a bra in. I was looked at like a deer in headlights when I said that. 90% of their dresses were strapless. Really? I understand thats the trend right now but do you only want trendy brides? The selection of dresses was so underwhelming but now that I’m reading reviews it seems that there’s another room of dresses? Would have been nice to know.None of their dresses had price tags I was just told “I’ll let you know if we’re getting close to your budget”. Uhm if you’re going to ask me to look around for a dress why not have the price tags on the dresses so I can see myself and not waste everyone’s time. There was so much lack of transparency with costs here. She seemed completely out of the loop when it came to alteration costs. I can understand not knowing the exact number but like ball park?There was one dress I really liked that I was inquiring about bedazzling a bit and I was just told “it will get quite expensive”- okay what does that mean? How much is the dress? How much is the alterations?I probably only tried on 5 dresses cause that’s literally all they had to support my body type (I’m also not morbidly obese I just have a large bust). All the sample sizes were a size 8, I’m a size 14. Im old enough now to realize the problem isn’t me being a size 14 it’s shops not offering inclusive sizing.We were talking about strapless dresses and she mentioned the possibility of wearing a corset- I asked for recommendations and she said “we know places but I’m not sure if you’ve tried them”? I’m asking you for recommendations- obviously I haven’t tried them.Then she said she had to email a company inquiring costs of the alterations I wanted and I was asking what next steps look like and she said “if you choose to get the dress you’ll have to come back to get sized and then we will order it”. Why am I not being sized now so if I call you and want it you can just order it.If I’m being super honest now I felt after leaving is their staff knew they weren’t getting a sale from me because they dont cater to my size or style so there was no care or attention put into such a big moment in my life.This is what sales people are for- hype me up, help me find something I’ll feel beautiful in!What a shame for my first time trying on a wedding dress!

I was extremely nervous at the start of this appointment. Everyone always told me that you just know when you put on the dress that it is your wedding dress. So, coming into this appointment (after trying a few other places), I was scared that I was being too picky or not going to have that feeling.Liyat made all of those fears go away. We talked about what I liked and what I was hoping for. She made my life harder (in a good way) as she found several dresses that I had envisioned/didn't think even existed. At the end of the appointment, I had found the dress and had the feeling everyone described.There are no words to describe how much I appreciate Liyat and the selection at Becker's Bridal. I highly recommend them when searching for your dress!

I went here a few years ago for my best friends wedding dress and had such a great experience that I came back in August 2023 to pick out my wedding dress. They have so many beautiful dresses to choose from in a wide range of prices and they were very accommodating to ensure I was trying on dresses within my price range. The consultant was so nice, patient and attentive, it made the experience extra special. The space is beautiful and spacious. Highly recommend coming here for your wedding dress shopping!

Highly recommended! It was the first place I walked into before shopping around and ended up going back here and purchase my lovely dress. Amanda brought me this dress that I didnt even pick to try. She has such an eye for what suits you best! Super patient, professional and respectful. I would take any future bride back here.

My sister and friend both chose their wedding dresses at Becker’s, and the experience was lovely each time!The staff are wonderfully patient and kind, and not once was there pressure to make a decision. I will continue to recommend Becker’s to friends!

Let me start by saying that I was dreading wedding dress shopping. and I was avoiding your typical "bridal" stores for the reason. I decided to check out Becker's and all I can say is wow. My experience from start to finish completely exceeding my expectations. They made me feel comfortable and moved at my pace. I was not forced to try on anything I did not want to, but was provided with guidance when I didn't know which direction to go. I found my beautiful dress here and I am so glad I did. I cannot thank the team enough for your generosity, patience and exemplary customer service. Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience with Becker's Bridals and would highly recommend booking an appointment there! Liyat was absolutely amazing! She really listened to what style I was looking for and helped me find dresses to try on but also brought me dresses that fit my style that I didn't initially see. I also had an extra challenge as I needed to find a dress relatively quickly for a short engagement and was very grateful that Becker's sold some sample dresses, one of which happened to be my dream dress. Becker's provides great service and I'm so thankful for Liyat's caring and helpful approach!

So thankful for Becker's Bridals. After going to a well-known bridal store associated with The Bay, I was told that my wedding date was "like tomorrow" in the wedding world (despite being 7 months away) and that they'd have to charge me an $800 rush fee to get my dream dress for September. I could, however, buy the ripped floor model at a minor discount if I paid in cash. One call to Becker's and I not only got the SAME dress brand new, but also for 10% off (thanks to a trunk show) and no rush fee. Liyat scheduled me in for an appointment the day after I left a voicemail, took my measurements and worked with me to determine my appropriate size. I received the dress earlier than anticipated and it is exactly how I imagined. I couldn't wish for a better experience. Very appreciative.

Wonderful experience. Our bridal stylist recommended the dress I ended up purchasing, she really knows her stuff! There is a variety of BEAUTIFUL dresses. They picked the best options from the designers they offered.The store is well organized and laid out with lots of room to see all the dresses. It is clean and not crowded. Great place ?

This was the first store I visited in my search for my dress- and I was so happy with my experience. Barbara fit me in with Amanda last minute and I absolutely loved working with her. She is a supportive, informative and kind presence who really let myself and my friends/family have a very special moment together. Between her and Barbara, I really felt like I was in great hands. They were not pushy whatsoever, and were accommodating with the several fittings I requested. The dresses here are stunning and after comparing the prices and selection at some other boutiques, I ended up buying my dress here. Thank you, Amanda and Barbara for your excellent care and making my experience so special.

I couldn’t possibly be a bigger fan of Becker’s Bridals after my recent experience of shopping for, and purchasing my perfect wedding dress. I had explored a wide range of bridal options - from discount pop-up events and chain stores to vintage/pre-loved stores to ritzy boutique shops - and Becker’s was by far the winner for offering every style of gorgeous AND amazingly affordable dresses.But what really made the difference for me was the exceptional staff with unbeatable customer service skills. Amanda went above and beyond to help me find my dream dress (the dress I bought she had ordered to be brought into the store for me to try). She emailed with me answering all of my questions, never pressured me with sales tactics, listened to what I was looking for and made helpful suggestions, and was just so genuine and considerate which I really appreciated after encountering high-pressure sales tactics at other stores.My friend also had the same incredible experience at Becker’s with another salesperson, so I’m convinced it’s simply the best bridal experience in Toronto! Highly recommend if you want honest and experienced salespeople and a wonderful variety of lovely dresses for great prices!
