Beanfield tells you that you get 2gb up and 1 gb down, but with speed tests and with only 1 device connected, the reality is it is only around 200mb at best. I have been a customer with them for over 5 years. When trying to contact support to fix this issue and sending them photos of the Google speedtests 3 times, they blantantly lie that they didn't receive the screenshots when there is clear evidence everytime those emails and attachments have been sent. They fail to respond for weeks at a time, and I've been talking to them for over 3 weeks now, and nothing has been done.
I am so disappointed with Beanfield.
Attached are the screenshots I sent 3 times that were 'not received' by them. Can't deny that they are not received now.
Reply to Beanfield: Why was my problem not looked into immediately? The service rep name is Luka. I will not be wasting my time sending over 7 emails to that support email over a period of 3 weeks and being gaslighted again and again that my 3 emails I sent with the screenshots attached were never received. I will not be wasting my time reaching out to Beanfield again. Beanfield needs to do better, and I am going to start looking into other providers to switch to.

Internet keeps cutting off for 2 months. Beanfield unable to help. Technicians came out on 2 different occasions today no internet again in the South core of Toronto. I am told the fibrestream cables are old and not serviced like the Beanfield ones.

Great value if things go right, but terrible service if things go wrong.
My router just broke down and support says they can't get me a router until next Tuesday (more than half a week without wifi) because they only ship and they can't ship over the weekend. Very disappointed because I live very close to their offices and if it were Rogers or Bell, I would've been able to pick up a new router same day. I also work from home so internet is a must.

New Customers Beware!! Terrible customer service. Worse than Bell and all mainstream providers. I switched from Bell to Beanfield, when they came in for the installation, they simply put in the box and left without replacing the existing Ethernet connections. When called for assistance, they will blame the customer for their own failure to properly train installation staff and try to charge the customer $100 for "repairs" that should have been done. Get staff to test all existing connections! Beanfield does not support their customers!

Worst company

I’ve had an absolutely frustrating experience with Beanfield. The service is nowhere near what was advertised. Despite paying for a premium package, the speeds have consistently been much lower than promised. I’ve spent countless hours troubleshooting with their support, only to be met with more excuses and no real solutions. Their support team seems incapable of providing a straightforward resolution, and I was even misled about the cancellation process. If you value your time and money, avoid Beanfield at all costs. This has been the worst internet service experience I’ve ever had.
Edit: After their reply, I want to mention that 300Mbps download speed for an advertised 2Gbps internet is NOT within the normal range and is simply NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Worst internet service I’ve ever experienced. The amount of times their wifi needs repair or cuts off if truly unacceptable. Not worth it.

1 year ago they came to my condo with $40 and now they raised to $60 and do not offer to deactivated account’s price . The condo cannot do other company than Beanfield and Bell. At lease Bell offers some promo and still slightly cheaper than Beanfield. I thought the purpose of this company is to offer affordable interns among market.
Also, their my account page was always having issues. When I log in, it’s always blank to me.

This is the worst Provider ever! I moved and sent a cancellation request, they kept charging me for a YEAR!!! Because they conveniently couldn’t find, which is fine. I took responsibility for not having confirmation myself even though I provided other sources of proof.
Fast forward to a conversation with their support team and they assured me I would not be charged further and they would refund a month of the year they stole. And I check my credit card this week only to find that they charged me again!!!! PLEASE STOP STEALING MY MONEY!

Inconsistent speeds. I’m paying for a 750 MBPS plan and the most I have ever seen so far is 100 MBPS. This is a great example of false advertising. Update: today I am only receiving 9.8 mbps and am currently using my phones data to post this review because their internet is too slow to perform basic tasks.

Was previously a FibreStream customer and maintained an account that was $40 per month. When I changed addresses, I was told that my prior plan could not be honoured and that the price would be increasing to $60 per month. Needless to say was pretty disappointed given I was moving within the same building just to a different unit. On top of that, they have marketing materials displayed in the lobby of my condo which are advertising the same service for $50 per month. Extremely misleading and very unimpressed with Beanfield to this point

Suddenly increased the prince of my home internet without any notice... Not happy with the lack of transparency and communication on the part of the business.
