Daylight robbery of a mechanic shop.
I brought my car in and they told me I needed pads, calipers and rotors for my car. Wanted to charge me $1100. After almost paying it, I called Mario's Garage down the street and they quoted me $725. After bringing this to their attention they gave me the run around about already having taken my car apart on both sides and what a trouble it would be to put it back together without paying. I offered a diagnostic fee to which they refused.
After getting the car to the other shop, they found out I did not indeed need calipers ( as they were in excellent condition) and charged me $550.

Thank you so much to the whole team for the wonderful job on my car! I was stressing so much about it and the repair was fast and absolutely amazing. The fact that the team was able to repair the large crack in my bumper still shocks me.
