Sadly I purchased a $400 dress made by Velvet (on sale with a 50% discount) from A Kind Heart. I wore the dress twice and then hand washed it. The fabric disintegrated in two separate places and the dress was no longer wearable. Both A Kind Heart and Velvet refused to offer any refund or replacement product for what is clearly a defective product. I would caution future consumers about doing business with a company that does not stand by its products and also against purchasing Velvet brand products as I do not view their business practice as ethical. Selling defective product and not reimbursing I believe to be illegal.

I went into into this store for the first time today. They had some cool stuff, but I was pretty disgusted by the man-hating products that are supposed to be "lighthearted". Epsom salts called Men Are Morons and greeting cards saying things that feminists would LOSE IT over, if they were said about women. Imagine if those things were said about women??
To honour the excellent men in my life such as the man I love, my Father, my son, and wonderful male friends, I chose not to spend a dime here.
A Kind Heart would never approve of such things being said about women OR men.

Just visited their Unionville location and was blown away by the incredibly unique and quality selection of everything here. And the owner Kyla is an absolute sweetheart! She is so welcoming and picks really beautiful and ethically made clothing that I just cannot get enough of. I cannot recommend this palce enough

Such a wonderful experience! We walked in the door and were immediately greeted by Sam, a warm and friendly person who really gave a welcoming personality to the store.The store itself smells amazing and has such a cozy environment, and all the clothes have a really unique style.We're from Ottawa, but will definitely be visiting when we come back!

Wouldn't recommend shopping online here if international shipping is required as they don't use any tracking. Unfortunately I ordered a dress and I never received it. I tried emailing the info email multiple times and I finally received a response which said there's nothing they can do and then they stopped replying to me when I asked for more details on the tracking so I could sort it out myself. Very sad that I haven't received my dress, a refund, or any communication since.

I love, love this store! My dog Lamby and I shop here all the time on our neighbourhood walks. The staff are the sweetest and are also very honest when asking their opinion on how something looks. Some of my favorite items are from here like my oversized ripped jean shirt and my @etica jeans I recently purchased. They also have the best smelling candles and great selection of cards for any occasion.

This is one of my favourite local clothing stores. I love their selection and what they stand for. The customer service is fantastic also. I have lots of items from here but my favourites right now are the vegan leather pants and jeans. You can’t go wrong here!

Love this store! Great brands - from casual to workout gear to dresses and jewellery. Ky is awesome and makes sure you love everything before you buy, and the rest of the staff is lovely. Go shop!!
