I am taking a moment to thank the gentleman working this afternoon. He knows who he is. His random act of kindness when I was having such a tough week was really touching. Thank you for your kind customer service and for making a difference

Highly recommend not purchasing from this store or even going into the store was racially profiled by a old Chinese women who works the cashier position at this location. She doesn’t even own the store but was acting as if I was going to shoplifting then tried to act nice to me after she caught on that I was paying attention to her evil actions. She probably still thinks this is the 1800s.I come to this store DAILY so they know my face. I use my HARD EARNED MONEY to purchase items from this store DAILY but after today I won’t be back at this store again lost a loyal customer. If you want to keep your business smoothly don’t hire people like this.

I have been to many convenience stores and in my lifetime and this store is by far the worst run store when it comes to the staff. I was there yesterday with my wife to buy taquitos and the lady who served me overcharged me by 2 extra taquitos. I paid $6.54 for 2 taquitos by the way and the smirk she gave me now makes sense coz that is blatant theft. In addition to the staff has an ego the size of a CEO of an MNC. I reached home and realized they overcharged me. My request to the store owner is how much longer will this go on because all review here for the store indicate everyone has faced a negative moment. A standard reply is mot going to help when nothing has changed so far. A total disregard for complete decency.

Visited the store to buy something and cashier charito was helping me with the transaction and was having a nice conversation with her till the other Chinese cashier came in between the conversation and sounds too bad to me and literally so disrespectful towards me , may be bcoz she saw that I’m too young in front of her to have an argument with her and cant say her anything back to her. My point is when I’m having a discussion with one cashier and she is letting me know about some companies policy and stuff so nicely that why the hell the other cashier comes in between and started shouting at me in front of other customers, it was so embarrassing as a customer . The owner definitely have to teach their staff how to talk and greet the customers or if someone like her doesn’t like her work than there are so many others who are looking for some opportunities and having manners too which she lacks alot. Worst worst experience ever.

It has come to my attention that a friend of mine had an unfortunate experience with a $40 LCBO gift card purchased from this 7 Eleven location. Unfortunately, the main gift card was missing and could not be used. As it was intended as a gift, my friend was understandably disappointed. When we reached out to the store to voice our concerns, we did not receive the level of assistance we were hoping for. I would like to advise potential buyers to exercise caution when purchasing gift cards from this particular location.

Worst 7-Eleven store, probably. They don't even bother about the customers. 4 customers moved out in front of me, and the staff was just standing and talking in the corner. I'm probably never visiting here again.

I've been to 7-11 stores for 30 years in 3 countries (including this location, some years past) and for the most part, you know what to expect when you go into one. As of 2023, this is one of the worst locations I've been to. I think it's clear that within the last year or two especially, the quality control and customer service at this location have plummeted.Over that time, I've seen the same rude staff, dodgy-looking food, low standards of cleaning, and utter laziness that had gone on here. I've luckily never been present at the fights that break out here, as others report. I've just seen the aftermath, as the glass in doors and windows have frequently been broken when my partner and I come by. This is highly unusual in a fairly upscale and gentrified part of downtown Toronto—it never seems to happen to the other convenience stores in the area. The famous 24-hour schedule is part of what keeps me coming back, and tonight is the very first time we've been turned away as they were "closed for cleaning." Not for an emergency or yet another fight. Just for jobs that should have been done at off-peak hours, not on a Saturday night an hour or two before the bars get out. When we were rudely turned away to wait in the cold, it was with a large gathered group who could not get service. The last time we all stood around with no service, it was earlier, so we could at least lead the strangers to a nearby pizza place to get fresher pizza from more hygienic hands. Tonight everything else was closed, so we went home, and for good.I'll try back in a year or two when whatever current owner of this franchise ultimately fails, or when 7-11 area/ district managers ultimately yank his franchise license, as they'll have to do at some point to protect their brand. Honestly, the decline was so sudden and sharp that I suspect this franchise changed hands around the start of the pandemic, and the new owner just hired a bunch of his kids or cousins or something, rather than vetting the employees by any real performance standard. That's okay. The brand is still good, and there are at least a dozen other 7-11s downtown. These things have a way of sorting themselves out, and I'll be sure to change my review once this location has reset with a better team.
