The staff here is super nice! The lady I dealt with who got me my chess table also found me beautiful antique chess pieces as well, and I picked up a cool comic book. Each purchase she seemed grateful for and thankful.

Very overpriced, came here and thought "this is ridiculous I shouldn't have ever bothered coming". I thought thrift stores were supposed to be cheap, not try and charge $125 for a 18 year old TV they got donated to them

I am not much of a thrift shopper myself, but once and a while I go with my friends for that fun with the girls time.
One of my friends purchased something at your store for $200. When her husband put it together they realized it was defective. Her husband called the store to speak with the manager and explained the problem. The manager pretty much told him that he must've broken the item on the way home because it was 'fine' when they tested it. It was sad seeing my friend just sit down and very calmly say "I paid them this much money for a defective item and they are not willing to help in any way, I feel cheated". No store credit, no a small discount, no solution was offered at all, nothing. To me it was like, we've got your money, the deal is done!
I have told her soooo many times that she doesn't need to spend that kind of money buying used things that people don't want in their homes anymore in the first place, and that may or may not work two days later, but she has the idea that is helping someone, somewhere, somehow.
The greed that is seen in some second hand stores is beyond my comprehension. The prices are disrespectful and ridiculous for furniture that they get as DONATIONS. The only consideration that you probably have when you price your items is going to the internet and seeing what the market value is supposed to be for the new product. And it's not bad to do that, but like I said before your items are D-O-N-A-T-E-D.
Is very frustrating when you see things like this happen to honest people. But well, perhaps my friend learns the lesson this time, and 'Twice As NOT Nice' shame on you for treating a customer that way!.

One of the BEST in Ontario ? amazing prices @ $5. Most expensive thing I saw was $20 for the real leather jackets. Staff makes you feel welcome and familiar.

This is an EXCELLENT organization to assist and help the community.I would truly like to thank Ken, Rose, their assistant and all the numerous volunteers from the store who had helped me clear my dad’s house.If you are ever looking to downgrade , or if it's estate related. I highly recommend connecting with Twice As Nice and talking to Ken and Rose to see what can be done.5 stars isn’t enough as a rating, from the services and professionalism that I had revived I would easily give 10 out of 5 stars.
