Not thrilled about the changes since Sobeys bought Safeway: can't get the brands I like anymore since they are pushing their own brand, produce is ok, but Metro's is better. Airmiles has become the main reason I still shop here. Sorry Safeway.

Horrible if I could put no stars I would!!!
No English speaking people working in deli and took someone 10 mins to come out and help. Between the 2 of us we couldn't order the food properly food was way lower quality then any other safeway we've been to. They obviously don't know how to do there jobs or weren't trained properly.

Usually I like safeway. I was so hungry and bought couple of items from Safeway Kitchen considering ready to eat and very dis appointed.1. I got fridge cold food which I wasn't expecting while ordering. No once offered heating up. I don't need a cold food from you guys. I can go somewhere else and get better one.2. Price is very tricky. it is per 100g. Meaning paying more than restaurants.3. Who ever cook the food please consider changing your profession because cooking is a bad choice for you. I never eat this much bad food in my life. Tried by all of us in our family and end up in garbage.4. I talked to others and they have the same opinion like me.5. Please do not offer this food to anyone who's tastebuds working.

Obviously, when it comes to groceries, people have their own reasons for choosing where they shop. I've always liked the Safeways experience dating back to the 60's. This store is bright and clean and the employees are busy but always easy to find and willing to help me find something new or different. I know the store well, and like to get in & out quickly, so it suits me well. The quality of the products they sell, the convenient location (on my way home) and recognizable faces makes me a happy Safeways customer.
