Metro is pretty good…I went there to pick up some fresh bread today, and while they were tasty, they weren’t as fresh as I’d hoped. ? I also bought some strawberries and spinach, which were fine but not as it used to be. The prices are a bit higher than other stores, and while the quality is decent.. It’s an okay option.!!

Metro on River St in Thunder Bay. Store 421. Wonderful Customer Service from Janet and Angela in the Floral Dept . I live in Timmins and I had phoned in to order some flowers to be delivered on October 2. Today, September 29, I noticed a $64.98 charge on my credit card. I had not intended to spend that much. When I called
to get a refund and re-order, Janet and Angela were so very kind and professional on correcting MY mistake. Janet even called me back minutes later to let me know that my credit had gone through. Thank you so much ladies, you are the best! Barb Birkett ??

Metro is a great place to do your grocery shopping at all times. One of the things that stands out for me at metro is that their produce is fresh and at competitive price.
Moreover there are fresh vegetables that might not be available in a regular grocery store.
Metro is known to have friendly members of staff who are willing to help with any inquiries.
Just a trial will convince you!

Bought a watermelon. Went back with receipt due to the watermelon being rotten. They replaced it! So we grab a carton of cream on Aug 20. Says it expires on aug 29th tried it on aug 20th and it’s curdling. Feel bad to return again the same day.

Always double check your reciepts, discounts are regularly missed by cashiers. It's especially important at night as they won't fix any mistakes until the next day.
