I'm not employed here. Therefore, I refuse to use self checkout and do that job for the company. The area is too small to place your scanned items. I constantly needed the employee to fix the till because it kept stopping due to my items not all fitting on the area to place your scanned items. I know some people like these self checkouts because they can scam a scan and/or just outright steal items ..... I'm not one of those people. I'll bag up my own items, but in my opinion, there should always be at least 1 checkout person on a till.Shelves are not well stocked, but the girl at the checkout was super friendly.

Ahhh yea cheap stuff with some items with great engineering. You'll find something thier you're like omg this can be used for... (some random problem you've been trying to solve at your home). I've had this happen thier 5 times at least. Mini broom and dust handle, to a mini car cleaning thing for smaller people.

Who doesn’t love pursuing the dollar store shelves? Although one can’t really call it the dollar store anymore can they? Anywhoo staff is friendly at this locate and store is clean. Nothing bad to say ?

I bought a crocheted animal kit it should have had instructions in the box. There was nothing. Wool crochet hook needle stuffing no instructions. Exactly what am I supposed to do. I tried to call this morning to let them know and someone picked up the phone put it down and didn't answer. It was left off the hook because I called right back and was still busy. What poor service from the staff. That is reflected in the state of the store. Messy and chaotic.
Update: I finally got through to the manager and he checked if other kits the same have instructions and they do so he is gonna photocopy the instructions for me so I can use the kit I bought.

Made in China ??.Sick of all these made in China products. They are all poorly made and they fall apart after a few uses.I would not recommend Dollarama to anyone it’s a waste of money.

Watch out for their pedigree wet food they sell at Victoria store. Every one have bought in it you find a hard cream piece in their wet food and when I tried to crush it today part of it went into a powder. These wet foods need to be recalled. Don't buy them.
