Shopping local is very important to support businesses in our city. The staff (Jo-Anne) are very helpful and knowledgeable, and make the experience much more meaningful. From how the item works to how to load it in the vehicle.Bought a couple of Kicksleds and can’t wait for some snow.

As always, a great place to get the outdoor equipment you need for snowshoeing, kayak & canoe tripping, some climbing, even your dogs, or a little prospecting while you're out in the wilds. Best map shop in town. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful long-term staff, and a laid-back atmosphere for your visit. I've been going to them for at least 2 decades. This time it was Flagging Tape and Bug Dope. I can recommend this shop without qualms.

A Facebook business page is not a reasonable alternative to having a proper website. Good job alienating those people who want to peruse your store online but don't have or want Facebook. Response to owner: If you have a website besides the Facebook business page, why don't you have it hotlinked on your Website link provided by Google? Not doing that doesn't make any sense.

Shopping here is always a fun and satisfying experience - it’s not a huge place, but you can walk around for hours and still find more cool things to buy. It’s one of my absolute favourite outdoors stores because they have a great variety of interesting camping accessories.They also laminate large items; we got a map of Quetico Park done so we could explore different trip routes using dry erase markers.Excellent products are one thing, but what really makes this place exceptional is the warm, friendly, accommodating and helpful customer service. They really know their stuff, and they make every visit a good experience.

Purchased my 1st pair of snowshoes here this week. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure I got the right pair for my size and where I would be hiking. I would have been lost on my own!

These guys know their maps! Unique inventory covers all the things no one else seems to keep in stock. The team here has excellent customer service and will go the extra mile to make sure you know your a valued customer. Thanks again guys!
