“The best decision I made when purchasing my used car (2013 Ford Edge) in April was taking it straight to Wilf’s for inspection and service. The owner and staff at this shop are honest, thorough, transparent, and next-level skilled when compared to other mechanics. Unfortunately I don’t live in Thunder Bay anymore and several mechanics since Wilf’s, including a Ford dealership, have yet to spot some of the issues that Wilf’s identified right away for me. Thanks to Wilf’s exceptional service, I have been able to claim thousands of dollars in extended warranty repairs, including a water pump replacement, so that my 2013 now drives like new and no further damage is caused by driving a vehicle in need of major repair. My extended warranty has already paid for itself 2-fold. Despite living 1500km away I would seriously consider shopping for my next vehicle in the Thunder Bay area, just so that Wilf’s can be the one to perform the pre-purchase inspections.”

“10 out of 10 for the work done. Great job. Only problem was I was told they would need 8 days to repair the car. The car sat for 7 days before work was started. Also forgot the windshield was to be replaced. Would go there again for repairs.”

“I’ve been going to Airlane automotive for years. It used to be Airlane towing actually. Only time I don’t go to him is when he’s 2 weeks backed. But as much as possible to I get Charlie to repair my vehicles. I know I will get decades worth of experience, quality work and honesty. Multiple times I’ve brought my vehicle in thinking it would cost me over a thousand and it turns out to be only a couple hundred. I was in today and some fella went to pick up his vehicle from what he thought was a full brake job. I overheard their conversation and when the fella asked how much, Charlie replies with “nothing free of charge. All I had to do is clean the rust off your brakes and noise is gone.” Then hands him the keys. That’s the kind of honest service you’ll get from Charlie. And that’s why most his customers keep coming back.”
